Hello...I've been looking for a new foundation that is liquid, but I don't know which one I should look into. I tried the powder mineral one, but I didn't like it. Does anyone have any suggestions?

ive used alot of different foundations and none of them seemed to cover real good except for two kinds. i like revlon colorstay. but i really love maybelline dream liquid mousse. it covers really good. the only downfall to it is that it doesnt stay on all day. i use maybelline mineral powder over top of it and it gives a gorgeous airbrush look to it. flawless. hope that helps :)

I use CARA cosmetics and at Paul Mitchell North Haven Academy they custom blend my perfect color for me to take home. The best part is that it is professional, hypoallergenic, light but full coverage and if I get lighter or darker over the months, I can bring it back it for a free reformulation where they adjust it to my perfect shade. I havent found anywhere else that does that

I love Bare Minerals. It feels like you're not even wearing makeup!

Try Chanel, the colors they have are so great. easy to use, powder foundation i guess it is easier than liquid. But if you wana go for liquid go for make up forever the HD collection, High Definition products are used for hollywood stars while shooting movies etc... it doest show the pores in the skin. Did you know that they came up with a special HD product for Angelina in her movie Mr & Mrs smith to hide her tatoos!

I haven't read through all the posts, just skimmed them and no one has mentioned MAC yet. i'm surprised--I am 46 with oily yet aging and senstive skin. My daughter is 23 with oily skin. We both use MAC, but different formulas and shades. The benefit of department store cosmetics to me has been that they try it on you and you get to see how it looks, feels and performs before you buy it. MAC has fantastic shades and many formulas to fit your lifestyle (sports? sweaty? humid climate?), skin type, and the amount of time you want to spend on your makeup in the morning. I use the liquid medium coverage and it lasts all day. It doesn't break me out. Also, using a foundation brush (vs. a sponge) helps you not waste any product b/c it doesn't soak into the brush like it does with a sponge. Give it a try! It's free to go for a makeup session. Theyre always busy, though, so try to go at an "off" time.

I recently discovered Revlon's Photogenic foundation and switched from Estee Lauder. I also switch off between Revlon's Color Stay and the one I just mentioned. There is no need to spend a lot of $ on foundation. I get a beautiful coverage and I'm 57 years old. I powder my face with Physicians Formula after the foundation to set it -- before I apply my blush.

MaryKay's Mineral Powder Foundation is awesome. It is a weightless, skin-perfecting powder that provides buildable coverage. And its under $20. Love it- Highly recommend it to all. If you need a consultant you can contact me.

I am on my second purchase of Maybelline's dream smooth mousse. This stuff is great! It is sort of a whipped creamy consistency. It goes on wonderful and really makes your skin look young and fresh. I was worried it would be to oily, but its not; I set it with a little powder and I am fine all day. I think because of the consistency it really floats on top and since my skin gets a little dry also sometimes and this makeup really works amazing. Their is another Maybelinne mousse, called dream matte mousse. I have heard that it is a little drying, maybe would be good for younger skin. But the dream "smooth" mousse is my new favorite!
