For tech savvy parents who aren’t satisfied with a simple baby monitor, there’s a new product on the market that just may blow them all out of the water. The Mimo is a wearable device that tracks your baby’s every move and sound no matter where you are.

Reviewed.com reports about the new baby tech innovation from Rest Devices that performs a number of tasks for parents who want to keep a watchful eye on baby even when they’re not at home. The Mimo onesie is worn by an infant and it can track his/her respiration, skin temperature, body position, whether they are asleep or awake and activity level. A small plastic turtle that snaps onto the onesie is able to transmit all of the info via WiFi in real time to your smartphone. Not only can you look over all the data with the free app, but you can have a listen to your baby from wherever you are.

Dulcie Madden, the CEO and Founder of Rest Devices explains why she thinks the Mimo is something many parents will appreciate. She says, “What we’re trying to do is bring technology to parents and parenting in general, because it hasn’t happened much in the past 20 years.” The company is currently working on bringing more tech options to other aspects of parenting including a new type of baby mobile and devices for potty training.

What do you think of the Mimo?
