Do you color or highlight your hair?

Spring is well underway and it seems like so many of us like to "brighten" our look after the long and dark winter! So, we were curious, just how many of us actually highlight our hair?

Whether you do it to cover grey, brighten up your own color or to completely change color, we were curious, do you color or highlight your hair? Why?

Yes- I usually do it myself with home hair color products (50.5%)

Yes- I usually go to a salon for a stylist to do (28.5%)

No- I do not color or highlight my hair (11.6%)

Not yet, but I'm thinking about it (9.3%)

    I color my hair about every six weeks at home, mostly root touch ups, and indulge with salon highlights every 3 to 6 months. This keeps the annual cost down now that I don't work as much.

    I color my hair at home using salon products. Every once in awhile I will go to the salon for some highlights. I leave it to the professionals whenever I need a fresh new look.

    i love dying my own hair. i just make sure to read the instructions because i use so many different kinds.also i like to experiment with them.

    I have been dyeing my hair at home for the past ten years or so. I usually stick to the same shade, but I try various brands from time to time.

    I love all those comments! I was thinking of dying my hair, but was leery about it. The positive comments I have read give me courage to try it woon.

    I am heatened by the positive comments about hair coloring I have read. I was leery about doing my own hair. But after reading all the comments I am going to try coloring my hair soon.

    I dye my hair at home. I do a better job at covering the grays than the pro's do.

    I dye my hair myself, but I go with a color close to my own shade. I used to experiment with different colors for fun, but I started greying at a pretty young age, so now I just color it to hide the grey. I do stick with the same brand because the last time I tried a different one I ended up going to my stylist the next day for highlights because my hair was much darker than I liked.

    I have gotten my hair highlighted the same for 4 years now. I'm fair skinned and I'm filipino...basically I look goth without it. I get it down every 8-9 weeks. It's expensive but I love it.
