Do you color or highlight your hair?

Spring is well underway and it seems like so many of us like to "brighten" our look after the long and dark winter! So, we were curious, just how many of us actually highlight our hair?

Whether you do it to cover grey, brighten up your own color or to completely change color, we were curious, do you color or highlight your hair? Why?

Yes- I usually do it myself with home hair color products (50.5%)

Yes- I usually go to a salon for a stylist to do (28.5%)

No- I do not color or highlight my hair (11.6%)

Not yet, but I'm thinking about it (9.3%)

    I color my own hair mainly because I wear it so short it would cost me a small fortune if I went to the salon and had them do it!

    i ususally color my own hair. i do want to go a little lighter tho, but scared how its gonna look. next week i will try at home.

    Been coloring my hair for years. I prefer to do it a home and love trying different brands.

    I color my own hair. It grows so fast I need a touch up every 3 weeks. I would much rather do my own hair at home and save money for a special treat like a pedicure where it feels like I am being pampered.

    I go to a salon to get my hair done. I have four children so its kinda my alone time.

    I figured I would make a mess of things if I did it myself. Plus it is nice to be pampered once in awhile.

    I do it at home and for the most part it looks pretty good. Just wish my hair didn't grow so fast becaue I have to do it so often.

    I always go to a salon - she does 3 colors and it looks awesome. I am a stay-at-home-mom and going to the salon every 5 weeks is well deserved, and well worth the $120 I pay for my hair :o)

    I get the Job done just as well doing it myself as well as having someone else do it fr me so why go spend top dollar for a dye job..
