McCain is just 4 more years of Bush policies, no matter who he picked for VP. Only he is more hot headed and does not think about his actions (is that why he's called a maverick?). America does not need another President Bush. Palin is not qualified for the VP position. Her major qualifications are ..she's female, a mother of five, has a special needs child and now we find out a teenager who is pregnant. How much of a sympathy vote did McCain wish for from female voters with his choice of Palin. He picked her, because the RNC would not accept who he truely wanted as his running mate - Lieberman or Ridge. When he was convinced by his front men that he had to pick someone more conservative, then he made a hasty decision...and am afriad that's how he makes alot of his decisions..hastily. He had only spoken too/met with Palin 2 times prior to offering her the VP position, once in February and again one day prior to her announcement. Am sorry, but that's not how I want my President to make important decisions about America's future. He's 72 years old and quite frankly his VP choice may very well end up as President before his 4 years are over. Am not thrilled with Obama himself, but I like his policies and my vote will be for him.

The "experience" label that republicans are throwing around is quite comical seeing as though George W. Bush had plenty of experience going into office and he still screwed up this country in only 8 years. It's alos pretty insulting for McCain to choose a woman VP solely for the purpose of the woman vote as if we are all a bunch of mindless zombies that will vote for him just because he put a woman on the ticket.

OBAMA/BIDEN '08 all the way!! There is no doubt in my mind!

I would have thought by now in 2008, we could see past color and gender when the nation is in such turmiol. No matter who you vote for, don't listen to the media. Follow your heart and vote for a person that you feel will bring your household something better. Obama is my choice because when I watch him, I personally feel he is sincere in his approach about the problems this country is facing. I do think he's looking at the reality of many lives that have changed due to the outsourcing of jobs, and the housing lost. Keep a open mind, don't vote over fear tatics and the same old dirty politics. The nation needs a change.

I felt like she is being used by her party to get the religious vote. I personally think religion has little place in politics. They are crying now about sexism , when they bashed Hillary for it and Gov. Palin herself said earlier in the year that whining about sexism is not the right thing to do. I think she is using her daughter now and maybe she should not have put her young daughter through all this.

I THINK HE ONLY DID IT TO GET CLINTONS WOMEN VOTERS....MCCAIN MUST THINK WOMEN ARE STUPID THEN...THAT WE WOULD PICK TO VOTE REPUBLICAN BECAUSE OF HER BEING A WOMEN AND THAT WE WERE ONLY VOTING FOR CLINTON DUE TO HER BEING A WOMAN...I'M NOT AN OBAMA FAN EITHER BUT I THINK HE'S THE LESSER OF 2 EVILS AT THIS POINT

Morals my butt. She opposes sex-ed in favor of abstinence only education (We see how well that works). She's a zealot and a Republican blow hard. She's no Hillary Clinton. I'll have to settle for Obama/Biden.

I am not sure who I am voting for. At first I was leaning toward McCain, but now leaning towards Obama. These last 8 weeks or so should really be interesting. Someone said that it is a slap in the face to women because McCain brought a woman on board to get the Hillary votes. The slap in the face would be to think women cannot think for themselves and only vote for McCain because of Palin. I give women more credit than that!

The facts speak for themselves. McCain has a long list of credits to his resume. Obama only has penned memoirs. He has no experience at all. His record in the Senate is very poor. He never even showed up to vote on major legislation.

At the end of the day, our country needs a leader, a dipolmat of foreign policy, and a person that is willing to protect our way if life. That person is McCain.
