I am going to try to be less negative, more positive. And excercise more! Will go to yoga class tonight, which is a lot of fun. I did quit smoking back in August, it gets easier so hang in there! I feel great now, would never have had the energy or breath to take a yoga class, or do step aerobics on the Wii fit, or anything really. Smoking was really keeping me from being active. My husband and I bought snowshoes for Christmas, and we are going to learn how to use them as another way to get in shape. I would NEVER have considered this when I was a smoker, now I'm looking forward to it!

I have slowly become vegan. Eating "light" veggies, not the heavy meats no matter which meats, they are heavy and make you feel weighed down. Grab some fresh or frozen veggies, steam 'em without the additives. y'all be surprised how GOOD food is..!!! Oh my goodness.. Don't forget the fruits.. oh yum yum. I quit smoking near 11 or 12 years ago. It took me also 4 years to quit. Do it for yourself, and don't quit quitting..! Every time you think you have failed.. Just start again..! Good luck ..I'll be praying for y'all..!!

I got to do better and eat less meat and more veggies and fruit this year. I started exercising in the middle of last year and plan to keep going with that. I hope to drop a few more pounds this year.

I had lost 60 LBS June of 2009 and I have gained 10 LBS back and I feel it. I want to start eating more veggies and walking more to lose these pounds. I never want to gain taht weight back.

I had to "like" all of the choices- last year was all about making slow, deliberate changes to our lifestyle. This year is about solidifying them. I read a great tip on Pinterest the other day- don't make a New Year Resolution (they are rarely kept) instead make monthly resolutions throughout the year- so my January resolution is to declutter the house- starting with the office and then onto the closets! Of course I will be taking better care of myself. Zumba twice a week- and a meatless meal at least once a week!
