I am really working hard to get more vegetables into my diet. I have been making a point to eat at least one cup per day with lunch... hopefully I'll be able to increase this over time.
@ CampbellSm02 , congrats on quitting! my husband & i also quit on 12/14/11, it feels great & the extra money is very nice also.
I mainly am going to try to exercise more, but I also am going to try to make as much as I can from scratch. I already cook most our meals, but I am going to try and make more of what we eat from scratch. Also I would like to go into this year with a new attitude. One of more positivity and less stress. Enjoy my family and all the moments we have to share with one another.
Qitting smoking will b the best for you. My fiance quit last new year and has stuck to it. Picking up excercise helped him so much. Stay positive
I plan on eating more low glycemic foods this year. I'll be eating sweet potatoes instead of white potatoes. Brown rice instead of white rice and so forth.
I've been walking my dogs to increase exercise-we all love it!
gwenparrish, that is a great idea! I will try the monthly resolutions throughout the year!
Found out I had celiac disease this year so I'm gluten free and happy and feel well. I gave up soda almost two years ago (March) and I eat more veggies and fruits now. I won't weigh myself but I was severely overweight and have lost a lot by just changing my eating and drinking patterns. I will continue this year and will be even better about my sugar intake and getting more exercise!
