Even though I think this sends a message to others saying that no matter how long it takes, we will get you, there are many others ready to carry on his work.

I think it is great that they caught him, but we still need to take proper precautions against other terrorists out there.

It will be interesting to see how this all unfolds. There is no doubt that our relations with the Middle East and the War on Iraq will be majorly affected.

I also believe he was just a figure head and it is great that we finally rid the world of his presence, but the people that carried out his plots and help mastermind them are still out there. Removing him does not lessen our risk against terroist plots and might even put us at greater risk. He has many followers and countries (Pakistan) that are not happy with us right now nor the way we 'went after him'. I would say we need to be even more cautious at this time.

What a gutsy call on Obama's part. Apparently there was a good chance that bin Laden was not in that compound. Not sure what this means for our security but, at least he was eventually found.

Unfortunately, there are too many other terrorists who will take his place. My concern is that these terrorist groups will come together to prove that although bin Laden is dead, terror activities are still a terrible reality.

he is only one man with a mission (a sick one), but just because he is dead, that doesn't mean we are safer. now those who were under his command have no leader. they will take action into their own hands and instead of 1 man, we might have to deal with 2, 3, 4, 5+ who knows how many people he had trained to take over his position if he dies. I think instead of being safer, we are in more danger...what surprises me is that he was living the life of luxury in a mansion for several years hiding in plain sight while everyone was looking for him in a cave...this is unbelievable...

No I think that this is the calm before the storm because I feel these sick people will try to avenge his death. We can not relax..

I have to admit that I am very excited and proud of our country, but I am a little anxious and nervous that their will be revenge for the recent events. I know that we will be careful and on top of our game in maintaing the best sercurity for our counrty!
