Aside from cost, what was the most important factor when you purchased your last car?

    Last time I purchased a car was back in '05 and price was big for me back then. I didn't have the luxury to pay for anything else so I went with one that was priced well and of course looked good. Honda's our family car so I guess I could have also said brand loyalty. My sister-in-law is a HUGE Honda fan and convinced our whole family to buy one. So that answers the other question.

    The last time I purchased a car, my car was only 2 years old. The mileage was low, nice style and features. Comfortable ride, plus I like the way it felt driving it. I've been happy with my purchase and still drive the car today. The gas mileage I get is not bad either, so another plus.

    Brand and price were important to me in my last purchase. Not brand loyalty as I had not owned the brand previously but I wanted a brand associated with quality.

    A car that actually runs would be nice, lol. We have been without for for a few months now and the one we had, was a piece of junk.

    The most important factor for me was the style of the vehicle. The color of the vehicle, the style of it, etc.

    I chose other because what was very important to us was how many people could be seated comfortably. Our sons were teenagers and we often took them and several friends with us. We needed a vehicle for all those big boys! We bought a GMC Yukon and have been very happy with it!

    Ability to have three car seats across the back seat... Do you have any idea how hard this is to find!?!?

    I'm surprised no one chose environmentally friendly! If not for the high cost (which makes it an unrealistic option for me when purchasing a car), that would be the most important factor. Since "green" is something I always look for, I chose fuel effieciency. Better gas mileage agrees with my wallet and the environment!

    the gas prices are on the rise! def. need a car that is fuel efficient, safe, and will work with me during bad weather!

    We were shopping based on price, our last car was a used cash car. Our next car will be new, and we'll be shopping based on price and great financing rates.
