Needs to be even more Durable! I bought one for my roommates dog a few weeks ago. Her dog goes through toys extremely fast. Like they usually only last him about a week. So far, the Kong has lasted except some of it has begun to tear off a little bit. Plus it's hard for my roommate to clean out. If it was easier and even more durable, I would give it a solid five stars otherwise.

There's a reason the kong is so popular. I have used Kong products for years, and with three different dogs (of varying breeds and sizes). I bought the large one for our German shepherd puppy who is now two years old and ~77lbs. She chews through everything - including the wooden banister holding up our stair rail! Treats are swallowed in less than a minute and no stuffed animals should go within a foot of her... So it is hard to find durable toys and treats that last. Enter Kong. She is very food motivated so natural a toy and treat combo would be a win. We opt to stuff treats in rather than liquid because it's generally cleaner (due to the shape I personally find it hard to get completely clean). I can usually break a large milkbone in half and broken side in the Kong. Rather than the bone lasting ten seconds I can actually keep her entertained for close to a half hour - sometimes if I made it too tight she loses interest but for the price, this is a toy that is worth it's weight in gold. I gave it four stars because of the cleaning and the fact that at times pieces break off and get stuck that the dogs (and sometimes I) can't get out.

Christmas toys This Kong is hard and great for the large dogs that chew up every other dog toy out there. My daughter's dog's are very big and i bought them two of these for them for Christmas.These dogs love them and they are the longest lasting toy's they have ever had . I have seen other Kong toys and i will be buying a few different Kong toys for next Christmas,

I APPROVE SO DO MY DOGS I HAVE TWO LARGE DOGS AND I BOUGHT KONGSFOR THEM BECAUSE EVERYTHING ELSE I BOUGHT THEY WOULD DESTROY I FILL THEM UP WITH PEANUT BUTTER AND THE GO BANANAS FOR IT THEY HAVENT BROKEN THEM SO I'M REALLY HAPPY

My bull dog Bruno LOVES these! I put in peanut butter and soft dog treats or meat.

Kong toys are GREAT! My dog loves her Kong! We always put peanut butter in her Kong at night and freeze it, so when we leave in the morning she can work on it while we are at work. These are a life saver for dogs who have separation anxiety, my dog hardly notices when we leave now!

Durable Chew and Fetch Toy Our border collie lab mix is obsessed with this Kong toy! She enjoys both chewing it and chasing after it like a ball. The great thing is that these Kong toys are very durable and can handle lots of chomping and throwing. My only concern is that the toy has a strong smell and I have seen dogs' tongues get stuck in similar toys that have holes through the middle.

A toys that lasts! Any toy that my dog can not destroy is the best there is. We have had a kong now for almost a year and this has been the only thing my dog can not destroy. We love being able to fill it for her with treats and even peanut butter on occasion.

it's been washed, left outside, chewed on, thrown, jumped on and cuddled with--the perfect dog toy! I have a one year old Shnoodle. I learned early on not to waste money on any other toys for him other than Kong brand dog toys, specifically the Kong Large Red Kong Dog Toy. My dog not only loves his Kong but it's virtually indestructible; it's been washed, left outside, chewed on, thrown, jumped on and cuddled with. Thank you!

Love it! Kong's are literally your dogs best friend. Wonderful to teach your dog to chew on them instead of furniture and other things. All of my dogs love Kongs and get very excited when I bring one out. I would recommend the black extreme Kong for a really aggressive chewer though.

this is the best toy my dog does not rip it to shreds in 5 mins like most toys!! i love that kong stands behind their products and gives them a lifetime warrantey . we lost ours wen we moved i would love to get my dog another one but cannot afford it right now.

Love this!I fill it with peanut butter, small dog treats& plain yogurt then throw it in the freezer for a few hours. Perfect way to keep my pup entertained & cool.
