The product is a good solution for reducing frizz but definitely still requires that you use a straightener. It does keep your hair straighter, longer and I love the shine it adds to my hair. I was hoping for something that would reduce the amount of time it took to get my hair straightened with a tool but it didn't.

I liked the product although it did not keep my hair straight through 3 washes as stated. I have curly, frizzy hair and use a lot of product to keep the frizz down. I used my regular Moroccan oil first and then the Aveda product. I love the smell and the lightweightedness of the product. It did not leave my hair "crunchy" or stiff like other products. While I don't think the product did as it stated, I will continue to use it because I still like how my hair came out while using it.

It definitely made my hair much straighter, and that is without using a blowdryer. I prefer to let my hair air dry since I moved to the South, and the thought of blowing even hotter air at myself is awful. It leaves my hair gently wavy instead of having weird kinky curls in some spots, a random straight spot or two and a tiny bit where the curls look good. It has looked so good sometimes that I've skipped the flat iron and just wore it looking gently wavy. How great to have wash and go hair! I've never had that a day in my life! So big thumbs up from me!

I liked that it seemed to make my hair dry quicker. It also helped eliminate the frizz, and a little goes a long way so the container will last you for a while.

I've used a lot of Aveda product, and didn't realize I had this in my cabinet already. It's good for relaxing my curly hair and getting rid of frizz, but doesn't "straighten" it per se. So instead, I use it every day if going curly or straight. What it does do is cut down my time using the blowdryer and flat iron.

I used this product on my hair while it was towel dried before blow drying it. It helped smooth out the wave in my hair, and though it did feel like I had a little film in my hair once it was dry, it did smooth out very nicely with just a blow dry and not even having to use the flat iron.

I really liked this product. It seemed to make my hair smoother and decrease frizz. The scent did not bother me- I am usually very sensitive to smells. I was hoping it would make my hair shinier but that was not the case. Regardless, I would recommend this product.

I was actually already familiar with this product as I have been using it since it came out in June. I purchased it this time instead of the Aveda product that I have used for years which was the Glossing Straightener from the Smooth Infusion line due to a recommendation from my salon. So my point of view is that of a comparison between the two products: Texture - I like the texture of the Naturally Straight over that of the Glossing Straightener only because it is lighter on my hair. Smell - Between the two products I like the smell of the Glossing Straightener better than that of the Naturally Straight. Aveda products typically have a great smell but this one is just off a bit and the way that it smelled in combination with my shampoo/conditioner was not good. I have since switched shampoo/conditioner and it seems to be working better. Finish - My hair is not as shiny as it was when I used the Glossing Straightener...I do miss that. Effectiveness - It seems to have about the same effectiveness as the Glossing Straightener except I do not have to use my round brush as much when I am blow dry my hair. With the Glossing Straightener I practically had to round brush all of my hair while blow drying it. So I would say that I like the faster drying time experienced with the Naturally Straight. Overall - It's a good product. As a lifelong Aveda consumer I would buy it again. Considering I have been using it for several months now, I don't think that it will ever take away the need to use a flat iron and round brush though to style my hair straight.

Smells great, feels good in my hair, but it's not for short, wavy hair. I still had to blow dry it out and straighten it, so it didn't really reduce any of the time required to care for my hair. It did reduce frizziness, and if I wanted to just put it in and let my hair air dry, it was at least soft, smooth, and not frizzy, but it wasn't straight. I like the product, and I passed it along to my sister who has really, really curly hair and likes to occasionally straighten hers out. I think it's a good product, just not right for my hair.

I have curly hair and this product seemed to make my hair feel smoother and softer. It didn't really eliminate the need to straighten though. Maybe my curls are too tough.

This is a great product if your hair is not super kinky curly. My hair is curly/wavy, and not terribly frizzy. I don't think it would work as well for kinky, frizzy hair, especially in very humid climates. However, it smells nice, works well for what you pay, and does help to keep hair straight between a few washes.

I like the scent of this product and the fact I only have to use a small amount. It also made my hair feel soft. I don't like that I still have to blow dry my hair. I think it prolongs the style, but it didn't cut down the time I still have to put in in order to dry and straighten my hair.

I liked the consistency and aroma of this product and the hair was beautifully straight right after styling BUT it did not make drying time any faster and the humidity in the air frizzed the hair by the second day. Continued use did not make it easier or faster to straiten the hair. I would recommend this product with reservations.

I used this product on damp hair, I put dime sized portions on my hand and then would run it through a section of hair and blow dry that section. My hair is wavy naturally and this definitely relaxed the wave so that it was much smoother and straighter. It also kicked the frizz. The next day I can tell it is still pretty smooth and straight compared to before. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for straighter and smoother hair. I also liked that it was lightweight. It never felt greasy or heavy or like there was a lot of product in my hair when I used it.

I don't have kinky curls, but I do have some serious spirals along with some gentle waves. It takes a long time to dry out my hair straight and then flat iron it. And then it's usually frizzy so I just go curly. I was excited to try this product out and was pleasantly surprised to see it limit my drying time and minimize my curls enough that flat ironing it was much quicker. It really cut down the immediate frizz from the fryer. It did weigh my hair down a bit but I assume that helps with keeping it straightened. I did notice a decrease in my curls over the next washing and have continued to use this product with great results. I would definitely buy this again.
