Overall, I did not care for this product. I did not like the scent and it make my hair frizzy. It made my hair feel too heavy. I had to use my flat iron to achieve the look I was looking for. I would not spend my money on this prouduct.

I don't think this is a product for those with extremely fine hair; while I appreciate the product for what it is designed to do, if you have very fine hair this product can leave it a bit weighted down. I wasn't able to get straight hair with body.

For me the product only worked somewhat well for the first day. It does not keep hair straight for 3 days. I would rather apply it overall and then style, than apply it in sections. I like the scent while applying. Even though the consistency of the product is lightweight, my hair tends to be oily and I felt that the product made it a bit oilier. I did notice that it was easier to style, and achieve straight hair.

I was very excited to use this product but once I did I was dissapointed. Yes it made my hair straight and kept it frizz free but I had no shine and volume to my hair.

I thought this was just ok. I also really wanted to love it. The scent was nice and it was lightweight. But it didn't make my hair shiny or fight frizz. I also thought it made the texture kind of weird. Sort of strawish or something versus soft. I have loved other Aveda products I've tried but this wasn't a winner.

I don't think this product is meant to straighten my type of hair. It's very thick and wavy and needs to be professionally straightened with a keratin treatment. I did like that it seemed to take some of the frizziness away, though.

After using this product, I really didn't noticed any difference to my hair. My hair was a little weighed down and sticky after applying the product. I used it only once and I will not try using it again because of the way my hair looked and felt after applying it. Aveda Naturally Straight did not work for my hair type at all. However, I still would recommend it to others because it has worked for others.

After using the product as directed I did not see a difference. I have thin wavy hair with frizz and the product did not eliminate or even lessen the need to use a straight iron. On the positive side it did smell good!

This product left my hair soft but honestly my brand of straightener is preferable. I tried this for one week and even lent the bottle to some friends with much curlier hair than mine. They thought it straightened their hair very well but were afraid to continue to use as it would permanently relax their curls. I did pass along to another friend with curly hair that would like to have straight hair.

I did not really see much of a difference and would not purchase it based on the little it did. I do have heavy hair so perhaps that could be a reason it did not work well for me

For the price, this product isn't worth the money. It definitely didn't do what it said it would do. It didn't keep my hair straight for more than 1 wash. I didn't mind it as just an overall gel - like I use on a daily basis. It did keep my hair shiny and it smells good - but I wouldn't purchase it due to the price. There are better, cheaper products out there that I will stick to.

Really liked the packaging, the smell and the amount in the tube. I was so excited...but did not love it. I think it made my hair shinier and possibly easier to straighten, but seemed frizzed. No way could I use it without straightening. I also had lots of buildup even using a small amount. Wish it would have been better.

This product was interesting to me as I have curly ringlets and like to blow it out straight from time to time and am always looking for something to help with that. This wasn't my favorite for that purpose though. It does have a nice smell but it did weigh my fine hair down and have a buildup after a short amount of time. I don't blow out my hair enough to see if it would keep it straight for the 3 shampoos that it claims to and I'd need to do it every time to test that. Aveda products have always been just lacking something for me personally and this one is no exception. I have tried other professional products that I'd use before this one.

I have thin but wavy hair. I used the product in the hopes of not having to flat iron my hair as often. After the first use, the product made my hair extremely oily even though I used the recommended amount. It was everything I could do to not wash it out immediately. I used it one more time the next night. I used half the amount I was supposed to but it still left my hair feeling weighed down and gunky. Product did straighten my hair stick straight when I used it but the effect wore off after washing. Maybe it would be better for thicker hair but with thin hair like mine I could not get past the greasiness.

Did not notice any difference with this product... not sure I will buy it.
