I was very excited to try Aveda Naturally Straight, especially because I received it during very humid days. I liked the smell and consistency of it, didn't really help with cutting the time of blow drying and straightening of my hair. It gave my hair greasy look already after 24 hours after the wash, usually I can not wash my hair for 3-4 days.

Applied the product the first time 5 days ago and now again today. I have mixed hair so after I washed and applied the product I blow dried my hair and flat ironed it, but it didn't make it easier for me (which it said it would be easier). After flat ironing my hair it does look shiny and feels soft and straight, but after a day or two my hair feels nasty and greasy. It kinda weighs my hair down. I would recommend to a friend if they wanted good nice shiny hair for a nice date or night out in the town, but that's about it. I wouldn't recommend using this all the time though. Glad I got to try it for free.

It helped my hair become a little straighter, but I still have to use my iron or brush it out to get it straight. It seemed to weigh the curls down so they were just waves. I did notice a greasy feeling & it seemed to bring out the red tones in my hair. Overall, I'm glad I got to try it but it doesn't seem to be for me.

For Aveda the product itself was nicely scented and easy to use. I didn't notice much of a difference by day 5 so I used it a few more days and saw the same results. It helped more on the more humid days and did keep my hair straight but other than that I would just call this a smoothing product and leave it at that I'm glad I tried it but really does not deliver on all that it is supposed to.

I used aveda on and off for the last several weeks. Each cycle I was hoping to get better results but didn't. I loved the smell and the consistently of the product. It made my hair a little smoothie, less fizzy but it also seemed to weigh it down and felt and looked greasy. I tried using smaller amounts and avoid the scalp and top with no luck. I wouldn't purchase this unfortunately.

After using Aveda Smooth Infusion(TM) Naturally Straight, my hair is smooth and straight. I only used a round brush and blow drier and it worked great. I never use a flat iron because it burns the hair to much. It lasted all day but when I woke up the next day I had wave in my hair again. I have tried everything out there on my hair and I much prefer to have it chemically straightned it lasts much longer.

I have medium weight wavy hair , and this product did cut down on styling time , and did manage to keep my hair mostly straight and more frizz free than other methods I have used. However, it did make my hair feel a bit greasy and I did not like the scent of the product at all. I made sure to follow all of the instructions , but was not one hundred percent satisfied.

This made my hair really soft but I don't think it was any straighter after blow drying it.

The product left a sticky build up in my hair along with making it look greasy. Unfortunately, I will not be using this product. I was really hoping it would work to overcome my wavy-frizzy mess!

If they just marketed this as an anti-frizz cream I'd have given this product 5 stars with a gusto. Pro's: totally tames frizz., I even used it a day I didn't heat style my hair and my curls looked quite nice. It smell's good but not overpowering, it kind of reminds me of Lemon balm. I also like that it's not tested on animals. Con's: Doesn't live up to it's claims, which is why I reduced so many stars but because they claim it straightens over time and then lasts for UP TO 3 washes after 5 applications it got a mega reduction, after five applications, my hair - which is a mix between loose curls and waves (so not incredibly curly) looked just like loose curls and waves and not remotely straighter. I think it's a bit pricey considering it didn't work as it claimed it would.

I have thick and frizzy hair, I used this product for a week and I did not see a change in my hair texture or help tame the frizz. I get the same result using a basic leave in conditioner. I thought after using this, i would not have to blow dry or flat iron my hair, but that's not the case. I still have to take the time to blow dry and flat iron. My hair still frizzed up after using this product.

I have wavy/curly, oily, fine hair. It's a terrible combination. Not much works to make it smooth without adding greasiness. This product helped smooth it out but unfortunately for me, it added to my grease problem.

I have very thick, dry, color treated and curly hair. It's almost impossible to get me hair to be a smooth straight. I had very high hopes for this product and did not have such high results. I have found it better as an anti frizz when wearing my hair curly.

This product has no changed anything about my hair, the only reason I'm giving it two stars is because I like The Aveda brand because of their ecological efforts and natural ingredients. I wouldn't waste my money on this product, there are others that work better.

I really wanted to be wowed by this product but it was just ok. I do think it helped with the styling of my hair when I wanted to wear it straight and I felt (not sure if this was a true effect or a placebo effect) that my hair was straighter the next time I washed it. Unfortunately, for me, I don't think this helped at all with frizziness and I think my hair looked worse -- really straight and flat with no volume but with frizzies all around my part. In general, I think Aveda products are overrated and this one wasn't able to sway my opinion in the positive direction
