I didn't mind the smell but didn't like the way it felt...too greasy. I prefer a thicker moisturizer. If I were to buy a regular lotion, I would stick with Curel or similar. Would NEVER pay $54 for this! I will use it but probably not until I run out of my everyday lotion.

I soooo wanted to love this product but I have to say that in my opinion it is just an average product. First of all, I did not care for the way it smelled. Second, when I think of a body balm I immediately think of a thick lotion. The Mereadesso body balm is too runny so for that reason I personally don't like it as a body lotion. However, I do like it as a hand and foot lotion. It does make my hands soft without that greasy feeling and that is super important to me.

I like that this lotion is not greasy like so many others out there, but I would not call it a body balm. It is definitely too runny to be a balm. The scent is not one that I would choose myself but it doesn't smell bad and I do not think that it was . I don't think that this is as overpowering as others have said. Overall it is an above average lotion but not a luxury balm.

I am somewhere in between here with the reviews. It's definitely a "spa like" lotion. I am not a fan of the smell at all so I probably wont use it again. I liked the way it left my skin feeling soft and smooth but there are other lotions out there that are much better with no smell or a more pleasant smell.

Nice buta little on the greasy side.

Didn't like the smell so I used it on my feet. They seem less dry so it does work.

I was not a fan of the scent of this lotion. It was also very greasy.

I just visited the mereadesso.com/ website. These products are made in Canada. They are a botanical based products packed with vitamins and minerals. The Body Balm is designed to fit all skin types and meant to be a single treatment, so you only need to buy one product for your body. The first thought was it came out so fast , but It did absorb quickly. You don't need to use much and all the botanical oils didn't leave my skin greasy. The scent is light and similar to fresh greenery. It is designed to fade as not to compete with your personal perfume selection. It was nice on my skin, but not impressive enough for me to spend the money for this product. It is too pricey for my budget.

To be honest, this is just an OK product and not worth the suggested 54.00 retail price. I did not like how it felt. The smell was tolerable. I'd buy Nivea over this. Not going to be buying this one.

The feel of this lotion is nice. I goes on smooth and absorbs quickly. My skin feels nice after I use it. I don't care for the scent of this lotion. I am sensitive (allergic) to some scented lotions, so I tend to buy unscented/fragrance free lotions. I don't seem to be sensitive to the scent in this lotion, but I just don't like the scent. It lingers too long and it's pretty overpowering. I am planning on using it on my feet at night, so I don't waste it. Either that or I'll find someone to give it to who will enjoy the scent. I wouldn't pay full price for this lotion, and it won't be replacing my current lotions and hand creams.

I was glad to have the opportunity to try this, but I have to be honest and say that I wasn't crazy about it and I don't think I would buy it.

It was nice to get this product and try it. I wouldn't normally spend $54 dollars on a body lotion, but it is a treat and I think with regular use would be beneficial. I am not too crazy about the scent but it could be worse.

I hate the packaging of this product--it's almost impossible to get a good amount without getting too much. I'm also not wild about the herbally/green tea scent. However, I can't deny that it's a good lotion. It really does moisturize well. I don't think it merits the $54 price tag considering the packaging and scent, though. If Mereadesso made the scent a bit more universally pleasing and fixed the bottle they would have a home-run.

I liked the balm okay, but to emit wasn't really a balm. Too runny! I liked the smell and the way it does moisturize, I was just disappointed with the structure for lackofbetter word. I wish it were thicker.

I couldn't believe the price, so that was a treat in itself. I couldn't believe I had a lotion this expensive. I didn't like the smell a real turn off to my nose. I'm still very happy that I have it and will use it on occasion.
