This story was written for young adults so it is an easy read, but I love the story. It revolves around love of vampires and werewolves, but is also a tale of growing up as well involves a lot of action. I love how easy it is to read and it made me want to keep reading and finding out what would happen next. I recommend the whole series, and this is a great beginning.

These books made my pregnancy so much easier, it gave me a place to escape to! Loved being pregnant with Bella at the same time lol.

I'm not gonna lie. When i fist read this book I LOVED IT. I do dislike the movies a lot though, which put a damper on my love for this books. However, they are still awesome.

This is a really great story. She has just the right blend of drama, romance, and cliff-hanging to make you never want to put the book down. I loved it.

The Twilight series is fantastic! Meyers made her characters easy to relate to and an incredibly enjoyable read. I loved the first 3 books, but was a little disappointed by the ending in the 4th book. I felt like everything the first 3 books led up to fell flat here.

OK so I'm a little behind the times on this one, but I did actually like this..not the BEST writing ever, but the story and the developing relationship did keep me turning the pages (because no, I did not see the movies) I don't think she's my favorite author but overall I did like this.

While I am not a die hard Twilight fan, I do love this book! The love story is something that hooks you and you can't stop reading until you know what happens. It is an easy read and something I would read on a plane ride or a beach weekend trip. You aren't going to get any life changing experience from reading this book, but it does keep you entertained.

I really enjoyed this book and I am not a teenage girl. I am in my 40's and enjoyed escape from reality this book provided. Simple but quite entertaining.

I enjoyed the story but her writing is not what I'm used to. She writes like she is a 15 yr. old teenager. Yes, thats great for the book but sometimes can be difficult to read.

First book was a little slower than the others but it was a good read!! Huge Huge fan of Twilight series!!

good story, but a tad preteen. I bought it on a whim and later bought the sequels. I agree with the other reviews. Definitely for teenagers!

The story line was about love that won't end, that is fine for a 15-year-old but I am 42 years old, therefore, it did not hold my interest very well. I thought the story moved along slowly. I don't think it is okay for a teenage girl to be obsessed by a boy. That is just not healthy. Girls should be taught to make themselves happy first. I would have let my teenage daughter read it but I don't think it would have held her interest either. All in all, it was ok.

Good book. The writer really puts in the feelings and energy of a teenager in love. Great details, pulls you into the book and makes you want to read the entire series.

I have tried, repeatedly, to read the book and honestly I just can't deal with the writing style. My husband is trying to read it now but so far isn't having any better luck. Beware the "dust moats" ( their typo - not mine).

I loath her writing style, but the characters are lovable.
