An absolute staple. I bought this for my active chewer of a dog, and I have to say I absolutely love it! But not as much as my puppy. I have bought bones, which don't keep him busy, I have bought him plush toys that don't even make it an hour. This toy keeps him busy, and entertained.

Best toy for my dogs I love Kong brand. I had an Irish Wolfhound with the jaws of steel. This kong toy is the only thing that would work. I now have a blue heeler with the same jaw strength. He is the first dog I've ever had that can chew thru any toy I give him. This Kong toy is 15 years old and he can't chew thru it. I clean it regularly with soap and warm water and I think that's helped it to last so long. I don't know about the newer ones and how they hold up. But I know this one has lasted for years. I can put treats on the inside to keep him entertained or use it as a toss toy. It is really hard so I am careful to toss it not to hit him or any of the other dogs.
