I loved this series. It is one of the first in a long time that I simply could not put down. I am thoroughly looking forward to the movie and hope it receives good reviews so that all of the books are made into movies eventually.

My teenage son and I both enjoyed this series and thought the first book, The Hunger Games, was the best of the trilogy. Suzanne Collins' writing is creative, fast-paced, and thought-provoking.

I loved this book! I spent a whole day curled up on my couch reading because I couldn't put it down! Read the second and third ones too, they are also great. Very suspensful!

I really want to read this book. However, I also want to see the movie once it is released. There has been lots of filming of the movie in my area and one weekend while my family and I were hiking we came across them filming and it was really cool. Got to see some of the characters. I'm not sure who they were, but they were big guys with black clothes, long black coats, and really creepy red eyes. Looked like a good scene.

I can't even express how much I enjoyed this book. It had such an great story line. I read all three in the series and can't wait for the movie!

This series is original! Once you get past the initial premise of the Games, the storyline grips the reader and makes it hard to put down the book. Can't wait to see the first movie!

I loved this book and the rest of the series! I'm afraid to see how the movie will butcher such a great book! I even read some of her other books, Gregor the Overlander and that series. They're for younger readers, but I enjoyed them, as did my 9 and 12 year olds.

I loved this series. I was very disappointed when I finished the last book. I want more. It is very hard to put the books down. My son brought the 1st one home and I started reading it while we were traveling just to pass the time. I was hooked. I couldn't wait to read the others. It's easy reading.

I loved these books for so many reasons. First of all, who couldn't feel with Katniss and her dilemma between two men who are crazy about her?! I love a good romance. And the war was gory, yes, but war is supposed to be; I think Collins wrote those scenes flawlessly. As entertaining and riveting as this series was, I enjoyed it all the more because it's interesting to think the "What ifs" of the uprising and war.

WOW! All three of them!

The first of the trilogy and a great book. I read all three books and now that they're making it into a movie I cant wait to see how they portray katniss and peeta and the rest of the characters. I think the book is a great read because its unlike any of the other books we read. Its tiring to hear about the whole Vampire Craze like Twilight. This is a fresh futuristic and adventurous book. There is suspense and sadness and a combination of feelings when you read all of the books in the Hunger games trilogy.

This book had me from the first page, but it is very brutal. I can't even imagine what the movie is going to be like. If you liked this series, you might also like The Maze Runner by J. Dashner.

GREAT book. Not just for young aduls. This was a page turner and I can not wait for the movie.

This series was one of my favorite reads in a long time. I was absolutely captivated - read all three in one weekend. Collins keeps you on the edge of your seat all the way until the cliff hanger of an ending. Once you finish the series you are craving more of your new favorite characters. This is a must read for any book lover.

I loved these books. My daughter read them first and then I read them..they pull you in from the beginning. I am looking forward to the movies and as to how they will depict all the violence that takes place in the games.
