I really like how natural this looks when I apply it on! I have also noticed that a little bit goes a long way when using this foundation. Using a moisturizer helped a lot and helped my face from drying. Also, I have noticed that if I used a primer underneath, the color was distributed more evenly, and did not look blotchy!

I liked this better than other mineral powders it has quality, however I did wish they had a full coverage powder. I have a lot of acne to hide but for me it did not feel heavy or cake like.

I have been using BE on and off for many years, I got the original, and when I ran out I decided to pick up the matte. Since it is winter, the matte works better for my looks. I don't mind being tan and shimmery during the summer, winter is completely different. I love this foundation! And it still lets my skin breathe.

I LOVE this stuff. It goes on smooth and helps with midday shine in the T-zone. I just wish it wasn't so expensive!

Color matching wasn't dead on, but coverage is amazing and no break outs :) I found that if I combine two colors I get my exact match, just a pain to do.

Great make up! Something that I was not expecting from this product was on me it looks cakey. I only used a primer and then put the powder on and it still wouldn't as natural as they claim on television.

I purchased this and hope it wills matte out my oil t zone. It does work but it is messy. I used my powder brush and tap off the excess powder it went everywhere. The good thing about this product is it matte out my t zone. My face feels soft and not drying. It doesn't cake and make your face feel heavy. It covers nicely and doesn't clog my pores.

I love Bare Escentuals Makeup. I've been using it for about 4 years now and love that it feels light on my face...no more cakey feeling! The only downside, is that I end up having "mineral dust" that builds up in my bathroom.

I have used BE makeup for many years. I think the matte covers well and is a good look in the winter months. For me, I have combination skin. So the matte really works for the oily areas of my face. The original formula in the summer time, sometimes makes my face look too shiny in my T Zone. I love BE products. I tried the drug store liquid base for a while, when I ran out of BE. Big mistake. My face began to break out immediately. So, in the trash "True Match" has gone and I'm back to BE. Face is clear and my confidence is back. I only have one issue with BE - the colors are a little hard to match to my face. I have light skin. Not fair, but light skin. Some of the colors make me look either too pale or orange.

I used to be in love with this product in my early 20's I do find that now in my late 20's its does not work as well for my skin, but i'm not sure if its the difference in my skin texture as an aging woman (shudder) or if they asctusally have changed their formula.still a good solid product ,but not as beneficial as it used to be.

I used to use BE in my early 20's (when my skin was perfect) but got tired of shine it left on my face and to be honest the mess. I tried other mineral foundations but eventually just started using Tinted Moisturizers. I am now 30 and I have suffered with cystic acne for the past 4 years. I have to be strict about my skincare regimen to avoid a massive breakout cycle. I recently decided to give BE another try since I noticed it now has a matte formula. My favorite mineral makeup has to be Laura Mercier but her products are just so expensive. The new BE matte formula is quite comparable to LM except they still can't seem to get their colors right. I find that that their shades either run too yellow or too pink..nothing neutral. I'm using Fairy Light which I have to buff and buff to make sure it doesn't look too yellow. (Medium is way too pink and med. beige is too dark) The formula covers imperfections, my skin is left with no shine and so far I haven't noticed any new breakouts. It does feel light and despite the mess, it's quick to apply. I suggest purchasing another brush and not BE's. They are soo scratchy and low quality. I personally use Alima (mineral e-tailer) long handled buki brush. I doubt I'll repurchase unless they can figure out their colors. I'll probably go back to Laura Mercier.

I have dry skin so i only use this in the summer and when im being lazy. it doesnt last very long but is good in a pinch. skin does look natural and more smooth when in use.

THis is a fantastic NON IRRITATIVE foundation. It stays Matte all day and looks good on. The major down side is that it makes a mess if you are not careful applying and that if your skin is not good to begin with you will need with multiple layers or other products to cover blemishes.

This is not the product for me! I have tried it several times...even this time going to the mall and having the PROFESSIONAL apply it for me! I can honestly say that because my skin is oily and I have large pores, the makeup actually appeared caked on..make my oil increase and as the day drug on...the appearance was getting worse and worse! Maybe this works for some..but not all

This just doesn't do it for me. I find the coverage to be lacking as compared to other mineral foundations (even drug store brands) that I have used. I have tried using more and it ends up looking cakey and settling into my smile lines and making me look hideous. This is the only makeup that I have had an issue with settling into lines as I'm still in my early thirties and am not yet starting to struggle with wrinkles except when I use too much powder.
