Trust an Italian I am Italian and let's make it clear, it is hard for me to find a proper sausage outside Italy but I gotta say that all Johnson Italian style are quite good! I adore the note of fennel seeds and when I make ragł, I always add to the ground beef a couple of sausage peeled off the skin. Yummy!

Must have My family has been using this brand for years. It is definitely a star in my family's sausage and peppers. My family is italian American and my grandma always grabs this!! My family uses multiple types of Johnsville products. My husband likes the hot italian sausage as well as the beer brauts. I always have some sort of Johnsville product on my shopping list.

I htought this sausage and a nice taste but I did find it a bit fatty. I used this sausage in a meatball recipe and I think it shoudl stay as a sausage in future recipes.

Unfortunately I found the Italian sausage salty and it tasted more like breakfast sausage than sweet italian sausage.

I tried Sweet Italian Sausage with pretty good results. I used a recipe we make when we go camping, which is sliced sausages, zucchini, summer squash, and onions, and minced garlic, all sauteed in a skillet with olive oil. Surprisingly, the recipe on the package was very close to this. I don't like how fatty the sausages are, but they tasted fine. Next time I'm removing them from the casing and preparing them in something Italian.

Used the italian sausage in spaghetti, and didn't really like it, but to be fair, we are not used to fennel being such a strong part of the sausage.

We weren't as impressed with the Sweet sausage. My husband liked it better than my son & I did. Not sure what it was about it but just wasn't crazy about it.

I am neutral about this one although I like both hot or mild formed one. I have to say this one is better than other brand. Nevertheless, I prefer the hot one if there is any choice.

We tried this sausage cooked up with some peppers and onions. It was good, but I think I prefer just the regular mild or hot sausage over this one. It was a little too sweet for me and I am not a big fan of some of the seasonings in it. My husband, however, really liked this one.

I use Johnsonville sausage all the time in my dinner, lunch, and breakfast dishes. Of the all the flavors, this is my least favorite. It is good but it doesn't compare to the hot sausage. It has a spicy sweet flavor that seems more acquired to me. I made it with Spaghetti and sauce and I think the sweetness doesn't work that well with this dish. Probably better grilled.

I am a big fan of Johnsonville Sausage, but when I made a spaghetti with this flavor they all picked out the sausage and ate just the noodles. They did not like the basil flavor and did not expect the sweetness.

These are just okay. They're not bad, but I don't think they're great. If they're on sale I'll buy them just to have a quick protein in the freezer.

Im not at all a big fan of sausage but I do like this product. I would say that I would only buy it if I had coupons for it and it was on sale.

A little too sweet for me. Prefer the mild version. Will depend on your taste.

Great for pizza or pasta dishes love it
