Gets the job done. It's soap for a bath wash, nothing fancy, nothing that makes you feel like wow..i"m pampering myself. It's just soap. Gets the job done.

The scent is way to strong and lingers for days. So when this first came out I would have given it 5 stars. But now it's 3 stars. Reason being is the scent is way to strong and perfume-y for me now. It was light and tolerable for my issues with perfumes. I purchased the larger sizes because I had loved everything about it. It didn't effect my hair color, didn't leave a bunch of crap in my hair, left my hair feeling soft, shiny and not oily at all. My hair looked healthy, it looked great, I didn't have a ton of fly aways like I do with other shampoo's. The price is very affordable. But the scent is so strong that I can't use it daily anymore like I was. If they changed the scent back to the original lighter scent I would be more inclined to use it daily and recommend it to friends and family. Now I tell them to smell it first. So far none of them have wanted to use it saying the smell is strong at to strong.

I dint like this product too..certainly not for oily hair...makes your hair more oily within two days of useage.

I have sensative skin and this made mine break out bad. It smells lovely and lathers great but I cant use it.

Like the previous user I have sensitive skin. I bought this product about a month ago because it was on sale and I had a coupon and I love Dove. But it made my back break out almost immediately. Dove's products usually work very well with me but not this one.

It does smell great, but leaves too much wax in your hair weighing it down. I have curly hair and this shampoo and conditioner doesn't work well with my hair type. Most other Dove products i like.

Dove does smell really good but the shampoos dont do it for me. They have a way of drying my hair out and it feels stripped.

The smell is awful but I do like the moisturizing factor. It's a give and take with this product. If they improved the smell I'd continue to use it!

I have used this but it is not one of my favorites. It doesnt leave my hair feeling as clean as I would like

I love the smell of this product, but I think it's safe to say that this isn't an African American type of product. It dries my scalp out and makes it itchy. Not even sure if ids ethnicity because my step daughter is Colombian and Mexican and she feels kind of the same way.

Smells wonderful but I don't like that it has a ton of ingredients I can't pronounce in it. I prefer to stick with organic or more natural shampoos!

Not very impressed with this product

Dove is an all-around great brand. This shampoo smells great but my hair was like straw after 3 washes.

Not for me. For some reason Dove has always done the opposite to my hair. I'm always left with this frizzy dry mess. Sure it feels "light" but it's awful.
