I love this product! I received this from Shespeaks.com to try and I am a loyal customer now! It was super easy, not too smelly, and worked perfectly!!! Applying it took some getting used to, but was super easy after getting the hang of it! They also did great on the instructions! It was so easy and took maybe and hour from start to finish!

I don't color my hair normally, but, I thought, hey I could do this! I loved the easy instructions and everything was included in the box, super easy to understand. It was easy to apply to my hair and the results look great!!! I love it!! would use again, only problem is I wish there was more in the box, maybe I need two boxes,

I gave this product for starts just for overall ease of use. I enended up needing help to get the highlights right in the back. Over Overall, I am pleased with the results. The smell was nice and not overpowering it left my hair feeling soft. The highlights look very nice and I will definitely be using the product again.

My friends and family noticed the color and said that it looked good because it added some glow to my hair. It is very easy to use and leaves a nice color that is not drab or dull. I did not have any issues using the product.

I received a sample of L'Oreal Glam Lights to try. I never had highlights in my hair before, but I color my hair at home so I knew what I was doing. Sort of. I was afraid that it might ruin my hair, but it didn't. The color developed well, and the timer on the instruction sheet is perfectly accurate. The kit was easy to use, and I got some really nice highlights in my hair now! One negative thing - my hair gets frizzy a lot after getting those highlights, but it's nothing a drop of hair oil can't fix. I think I would use this again.

I received a free sample of this product to try. Overall, I was happy with the results, but I did have a somewhat difficult time applying on my own hair. Mixing the product together was easy, and I had no problem getting it to the correct consistency. The difficulty came from trying to correctly apply the product to the back portion of my hair. I found the application comb somewhat awkward to control on that part of my hair. You are supposed to keep the comb vertical while pulling down through your hair - I found this difficult towards the back of my hair, my hand kept wanting to turn the comb sideways. Also, since the hair is thicker there, the comb kept wanting to get stuck. I did apply in two layers because my hair is thick, but it was still difficult to get the comb through smoothly on the top layer. I'm sure this would be much easier if you had someone else apply for you, but you are supposed to be able to do it yourself.

Such a great product! My hair looks fantastic. I highly recommend this hair color for its final effects (gorgeous!) and ease of use.

I've found that rather than having glamourous highlights as I was expecting, I had a lovely experimental first time attempt at highlights. I did not get the expected results, nor did I ruin my hair (a slight fear I had). I think this was a great learning experience for me and I plan to use L'Oréal Paris Glam Lights next time. What would I do differently next time? I'd like to try a darker highlight shade for a longer period of time to sit. I didn't let mine sit long enough to make highlights that are noticeable, but I do have a noticeable spot that is a color that makes me glad I didn't have a full head of those highlights. I would like to try this product again to be able to fully decide whether I like it or not.

I received a sample of L'Oreal Glam Lights to try. Overall I was pleased with the color and it was somewhat easy to apply. The comb went through my hair easily. I would recommend having someone help you with this. The product didn't apply evenly with only one stroke of the applicator brush, so we had to go back and directly squeeze some out of the tube. I am pleased with the overall outcome and have gotten compliments on it.

It was a great product, super easy to use an left outstanding results. I would definitely use again and recommend it to a friend. It made the highlights appear very natural and I received several comments on it.

I received a sample of L'Oreal Paris Superior Preference GLAM lights in color GL70 for dark blonde to light brown hair. I was not a fan of it. The comb didn't seem to want to work right. My hair is really thick and it just didn't want to go through the whole way. I thought it was kinda messy as well.

I was excited and a little nervous to try self-highlighting. I used to do it, back in college, when (let's be honest) if I messed up it wasn't really a big deal! But now, as a busy mom of two, I really don't want to look silly if I mess up my hair. Luckily, that wasn't the case! I like the end result. My hair had been looking dull and flat, and I was tired of the warmer color I had used for winter. After using Glam Lights, my hair "pops" and looks vibrant again. However... I don't really think it looks highlighted, just like I gave it a color update. That's okay with me, but I don't think I would choose this product over my usual Nice & Easy Foam, which imparts highlights along with the all-over color... and is a bit less nerve-wracking to use. A few misses with Glam Lights: *The powder didn't mix well, no matter what I did. I ended up dumping a bit of it off the top of the mixing bottle before I colored. *I think the instructions should have stated that the brush should be REALLY full of product before running it through the hair. *The middle section of the brush is awkward to "fill" -- the outer two are fine, but the middle one has the spikes running down the middle, and it's tough to feel like it's adequately filled. *Lastly, and perhaps the biggest negative... the instructions say to start the brush at 1/4 inch from your roots -- unfortunately, that means my roots didn't get any color and, consequently, look like they're already growing out. It really needs to be applied AT the roots to accomplish a well done color job.

I received a sample of L'Oreal Paris Superior Preference GLAM lights in color GL70 for dark blonde to light brown hair. I just colored my hair and I'm a little disappointed since highlights came out more on the orange side and I expected it to be more blonde. Thus I only gave 6 stars. It still doesn't look bad, highlights blend well with my hair and look natural. The instructions were clear and brush was easy to use.

Let me preface this by saying I am a beauty school dropout. Haha. I am not even kidding. I quit when I realized I didn't have the patience or eye for hair. Haha. I have zero issue with paying somebody to color my hair. I have missed one too many spots or totally messed up the color to trust myself. However, highlights are insanely expensive. I have skipped doing them because they cost too much! I enlisted the help of my sister to apply the L'oreal Glam Lights to my hair. It was pretty quick to apply but not easy, since I have a lot of hair, one box isn't enough. I was able to gain a few highlights but not a lot. I thought the payoff looked nice but I definitely needed a second box. All in all, this is definitely a product that you can use for home based highlighting for the do-it-yourself girl or guy!

I gave this product three stars because it left a little bit of an orange tint to my daughters hair. This does smell great and left her hair soft and shiny. I like the ease of the brush but prefer a cap or foil.
