I received a free box of L'Oreal Paris Superior Preference Glam Lights Medium Brown to Dark Brown to try through Shespeaks in exchange for my honest review. This was my very first time using any sort of hair coloring/dye. Previously, I hesitated to use hair color due to the chemicals in it, but thought I would give this a try. I found that once I read the instructions through a few times, everything was easy to mix together and get ready for use. I liked the brush well enough, but it was a little difficult to get the same amount of hair coloring on each of the hair strands. I probably went over some sections more than others :) On the whole, I had a lot of fun trying the Glam Lights, and liked this product a lot. The only down side was the chemical smell. I found it to be rather overwhelming especially as I was applying the coloring directly to my hair. Overall, if the smell would not bother you, I would recommend this for getting nice, blended highlights.

I was picked to try & review L-Oreal Paris Superior Preference Glam Lights Medium Brown to Dark Brown, when i first received the box i was a little nervous because i had never given myself highlights before. I watched the video & read the directions carefully & went for it! It was very simple & straight forward, as long as you do what the directions say you will have beautifully highlights. I let it stay in my hair for the max of 45 minutes & was very happy with the color it provided. The only thing i recommend, if you can get some one to help you, you should. it makes it a lot easier & makes sure you get even highlights!

I was lucky enough to be a part of the product review panel for... L'Oreal Paris Superior PreferenceŽ Glam Lights GL50 Medium Brown to Dark Brown. I had used all over color (to hide those dang gray hairs) right after I found out I was chosen so that when the package came it would have a uniform canvas to start with. I did not do a strand test as I have used highlights before,but I did keep it on the longest time because it was slightly orange when I the timer went off. The tool was easy to use even though I was afraid it would fall out (it didn't). I have curly hair that I waffle between straightening and keeping the curls so the pictures are all natural.I saw an old friend later in the week and she liked my hair,thought it was natural ,due to the sun here in Fl. I liked this product,I will use again to transition me from winter to spring/summer. Thank you for letting me be apart of this!!!!

Received the product and it didn't disappoint. I left it on the maximum amount of time because my hair is quite dark and the highlights were very noticeable in a good way. I loved it and would recommend to others.

I am used to doing my own hair. The instructions were simple as can be . I am a mom a 2 small kids and time is always a factor. I wasn't a long process at all. I have curly hair and it came out great. Just a subtle change to my hair but I would definitely use again

I am pretty happy with this product. It was easy to use and the directions clearly explained what I was supposed to do. It turned out pretty well for being the first time I tried to color my hair.

I was so excited to have a change! I tried the product, and I must say it was very easy to apply. I made the mistake of doing it in an unventilated area and whew was that smell strong! I like the way that it highlighted my hair. I left it on f or 30 minutes, I would suggest for darker hair, do the full 45 because I did not get the lightness that I had expected. But the highlights do blend well with my natural color and I like the way that they shine. Thank you LOreal and #shespeaks for the product testing opportunity! I will recommend to friends looking for a change at an affordable price!

I received this product free from sheaspeak for test. This product is Easy to use. Nice smell . But don't think even this shade it will go blonde, I'm mid brown & on that it went ginger! But bought a good anti-brassiness & now looks just like I wanted. Over all I would rate this 8/10 - it's very easy to use but only loosing marks for the slightly brassy colour.

The colour is kinds cool, I saved it especially for our trip to Japan. However, it doesn't do anything to the white hair which makes the end result a bit strange.....

Shespeaks gave me the opportunity to try L'oreal Paris Superior Perference - Glam Lights for medium to dark brown hair for free. It was a nice experience. I don't use color on my hair but after trying this it is perfect for anyone wanting a simple change without going overboard or messing it up. It worked great, and looks great, and people notice and give me compliments!

I was really impressed with how easily this highlight kit was by Loreal GL50 for medium to dark brown hair. I personally haven't done any at home highlights in well over a decade. I was worried I would end up with a brassy color but instead it really just brought out my natural highlights. This would be a great kit for either experienced or inexperienced individuals. If you follow the easy instructions you should have no problems with it. Very self explanatory. This was a perfect time for Loreal to pitch a new product in this category as many women are ready to make a few changes to their looks for the spring and summer months that are right around the corner. I did try to upload the before and after pics but had some difficulty. Thanks for the opportunity she speaks and Loreal. One happy lady here.

I was nervous at first because this was my first time doing highlights, but it was very easy to use and I love how my color turned out. I had some issues with dripping the color solution when using the applicator (I put towels on the floor to catch the drips), but otherwise it was a great product.

It was very light highlights - mostly can only see it in the sun. The highlights were very subtle but it gave my hair a very nice color and everyone commented how great my hair looked. You couldnt really see dramatic highlights but it gave my overall hair very nice definition.

This L'Oreal Glam Lights product was highly reliable, easy to apply and had a smooth consistency that blended well. The directions were easy to follow and on-point with what was depicted. It also blended well in my hair and gave it a pleasant highlight and gleam.

I am a bit late with my review due to weather conditions delaying delivery of the package. My hair is a lighter brown and I had fairly good results.My sister happened to be visiting for the weekend and offered to help me apply the highlights.Due to this I think I had much better results than had I done it alone.I really think this is a two person project.There is no way I could have kept the brush straight from the top of my hair to the bottom doing this myself. I am not sure this is something I would buy on a regular basics but I may pick up a box a couple times a year and have someone help me apply it.I won't try applying it myself.Overall I am satisfied with the results.Its not salon results but neither is it salon cost.
