The Princess Bride is a classic! It's the perfect mix of Andre the Giant, oversized rats, sword fights, wonderful quotes, suspense, humor, and romance. This film will never go out-of-date.

To say I love it is not enough This has been one of my favorite movies for such a long time. It offers an escape from reality to a comedy romace.

I was in early high school when this movie came out, and I was a speech and drama geek. Excerpts from the book/movie were all the hotness for speech tournaments back in the 80's. It's just a good, fun, witty, sweet story. It'ssimply easy to enjoy. For me, it's also quite nostalgic, which may cause me to be a bit biased in my adoration for this film. I do love it though, and I still watch it with my family,or just with myself, often.

Classic non-Disney Princess Movie I loved this when it first came out & still love it to this day! There's the classic twist of the villian, there's RUS's, Andre the Giant is in it...What's not to love? A classic falling in love, thought that the main character lost their love, gets kidnapped, gets rescued, finds out their love hasn't died. It's a well rounded story over all.

Never gets old. This was my absolute favorite movie when I was a kid, and it's still one of my very favorites! It's sweet and humorous. It's one of the only movies I've seen multiple times and still adore.

One of the best movies This is an exciting movie, and one of my favorites! I would watch it over and over! The grandpa's description in the beginning pretty much sums it up (but underestimates the excitement). I think it only has one bad word, which is another great thing about it.

Love this movie! I remember first watching this movie as a kid and loving it - the humor, action, thrill of the chase. I'd say that it hasn't gotten any worse with age. My family and I end up putting this on to watch every few months, and it's fairly often that a quote finds its way into a conversation that's going on
