My brother bought me a Kindle Fire HD 7 inch for Christmas and I absolutely love it! It has plenty of memory and fun apps, although some take longer to hit the app-store than others. It has a great battery life, and the reading capability is clear and easy to use. I also love the capability to hook up a bluetooth keyboard, which I know use with their version of word, and do school work on my Kindle!

I purchased several of these for my kids in place of a tablet that are geared specifically toward kids. I add and delete age appropriate games, books, and movies as necessary and I love that my kindergartener can navigate the tablet to read to her as she is learning to read alone.

We love Kindle Fire! We have 4 in our house. They are so great to use with amazon prime and we can link all of them together and use just one prime account.

love my kindle fire -- it is so light and durable - I can read books, play games and do office work - great tablet

I love my Kindle Fire. I love my Kindle Fire. It is my second Kindle, I also have the original, which I have given to my husband. :) I love how easy it is to use. I take it everywhere with me. I recommend the Kindle Fire to all my friends and family.

My daughter loves her kindle fire from amazon, we have Amazon prime it's easy access to books and games

I love my Kindle Fire I received one for Christmas and I love it.I don't have a smart phone so I can put apps on it.I keep it in my purse so I can use it where ever there is wifi.I take it to church and use Bible Gateway on it to read the scriptures that we go over. It's affordable,I can store books on it.

Friends & family have told me, numerous times over the past several years, that I needed an ebook reader since I am such a book worm. "Give up that feel and smell of a new book in my hands? NEVER!", I said. Well, my husband, smart man that he is, took the decision to change over right out of my hands when he bought me a Kindle Fire for Christmas. This thing is AWESOME. It's an ebook reader and a tablet for $200. What's not to like? While I don't foresee totally giving up my beloved books, being able to carry lots of books (not to mention games, apps and internet) in something that weighs very little more than a paperback makes me positively giddy. I have found a few minor things that I would like to see change. I would like to be able to make folders to organize my apps and books into categories of my choosing, for one. I would also like to delete apps right from the Kindle instead of having to go to the Amazon website. But neither one of those are a deal-breaker for me. I love my Kindle Fire and give it a two thumbs up!

I bought this for my husband and he LOVES it! I also bought one for my 10 year old son. They both walk around the house reading and playing games on it. It's a GREAT price for all it does. I would say that the Amazon Kindle Fire is good for ages 10 and up.

I just received the Kindle Fire for my birthday in November! I am low on the totem pole of technology, but was excited to use this product as I am an avid reader. I am competant on computers and cell phones but these little gagets and others such as MP3 players were beyond what I thought I could figure out. Soooo... the package from Amazon arrived on Novemeber 18th. I was so intimidated by its sleek design! There was a note card inside the box that told me to plug it in.... so I did! Easy enough! There upon the screen are step by step instructions to walk me through the simple start up! WOW TOO EASY! A few days in i decided to purchase my first book from Amazon... again... piece of cake. I entered my credit/debit number once and now I can just click through when purchasing any other books or applications and my information is stored securely. Within seconds they are delivered to my Kindle and are ready to go! This product has wowed me with its perfect combination of technology and simplicity! My 8 year old uses it daily to read books, play games and watch videos!. This has become a family gift! The kindle fire has so much to offer; touch screen, games and apps (some free), limitless books to order from, it servves as a back-up internet source when another person is using the laptop, you can store pictures and music on it and receive, send and manage email ALL for only $199! Thank you Amazon! Who needs an Ipad?

I love this thing it makes reading alot easier

I cannot believe how much I love my Kindle Fire. I got it from my husband for Christmas and it is a dream! I can't imagine ever needing an iPad after having this, and it was so much less expensive! Great buy!

I love my Kindle Fire. The colors are so vivid and it holds so many books. Plus you can get a ridiculous number of free books for it...up to 10 a day sometimes. Also, with the brightness tool, you can decrease the brightness of the screen, turn off all the lights, and have a very relaxing atmosphere for increasing your readiness for bedtime :-)

Received Kindle Fire for Christmas from my husband and its the best gift i could have gotten. I can read book with it without my glasses. Play my music on it while reading dont need two seperate. The colors are great, its lightweight and pretty user friendly. For the price its a great reader/tablet.

So, having used a Kindle app on a smart phone and also having used a Kindle Keyboard, both of which I love, I have to say that the Kindle fire is an amazing piece of technology. At one point I had a tablet through my cell phone provider and returned it within 2 weeks. But the Kindle Fire manages to bring the best all together in one place. In addition to having access to, well, ALL the books...I cna access the internet and manage my email. I can play games, solitaire, etc... It's the perfect size and so easy to use. The only thing I think I dislike about it is trying to use in sunlight. for this, I would recommed the Kindle Keybvoard more highly. Otherwise, this is just about my favorite toy/tool/electronic/life-line and so forth! (This is apparently Android-based, which is my favorite OS for smart phones that I've ever used. However, there are a handful of apps that I can't seem to access that I like on my phone, but nothing that is a deal breaker.) Too funny...I was about to hit Submit and a TV ad for Kindle Fire came on. :D
