I bought this for my husbands birthday. and he really enjoyed reading it

Really enjoyed this book. It was a gift to me from my sister. I have a hard time focusing at times when reading. This book was so eventful I finished in two weeks. I went on to read all three of the books. Loved them all.

Great reads. I wasn't a huge fan of the very end, but overall they're very good, entertaining books.

Pretty engaging and fun except the disappointment of the 3rd book.

Great series and it really opens your eyes to seeing the parallels between the word that Suzanne Collins has created within the Districts to our own world. Katniss Everdeen is a character that any girl would like to be, strong when she needs to be and knowing she isn't a hero but that she has to be one, and actually has a character and isn't a bland Jane Doe like main characters in other books for this age group are. The plot grows fast and the climax hits hard in each book, they take you on an emotional journey as the characters battle for their lives and the opportunity to win The Hunger Games for themselves and their families outside the arena. Every character introduced is vivid in their own rights and their role in the story all make sense. Even the villain in the story is explained in a way where you almost understand where they are coming from, while knowing it isn't right. The only reason I won't give this series 5 stars is because the very ending of the series. It felt so rushed and out of place and honestly just sloppy. But even with that ending, I would still suggest this series over many others.

I loved this series. I was hooked from the first line. Tells a good story about a young girl trying to survive in a futuristic world.

Dark, action packed, and based on the Greek story of Minos and the Minotaur; I found it refreshing to finally find a young adult novel that both male and female readers can find themselves completely engaged in. It's refreshing to read a story that isn't disgustingly saturated in teenage romance drama.

Hunger Games is the best book that i have read in the last few years. hunger games was fast paced, exciting, and gruesemly amazing. the main character Katniss was an aproachable character who with stood an amazing force with dignity and and pride. i would recomende this series to anyone who likes action and adventure. although i would have an age limit of fifteen and up these books can get very graphic.

I love this series. It was action-packed thriller, lightly mixed with drama and romance.

Couldn't put them down! Great story line, not just for teens!

My daughter absolutely loves the Hunger Games series she has read them multiple times and I just love it when she comes to me Mommy Mommy always having a new story to tell me about Catniss and Peta. She cried to me in the end of the last book. I love seeing my daughter forming a connection through books. If only I could get my son into them :D

Great book! Very interesting!!!

Amazing story....Haunting and gripping. I pray that the world never comes to what it was like in that book. The characters were very believable for the setting, and also endearing. Overall, a wonderful trilogy!

Loved this series ..so action packed, I couldn't put it down . I cannot wait to ses if the movie's stay true to the books.

This book kept me up late many nights unable to go to sleep because I just had to keep turning the page to find out what will happen next. I felt that this trilogy is a good read for all ages and I personally enjoyed reading every page; and at the time, could not wait for the next installment. A friend of mine turned me onto the book and I felt that I received more enjoyment out of the novel by being able to discuss with her our thoughts and views about the book.
