i have extremely sensitive skin and am allergic to propylene glycol. after two years of trying all the creams in the market and not finding anything that suited my skin i finally found hope in a jar - for dry and sensitive skin. its working wonders for me. i recommend this to everyone.

I have used Hope in a Jar for dry skin with great success. This is a great product for those of us who experience cold winters. It was a bit heavy for summer time. The only drawback would be the cost. But, The jar does last quite awhile--a little goes a long way.

I love this moisturizer. It's not greasy and doesn't cause breakouts and best of all it moisturizes well.

Great for winter I used this frequently for two years (too many options, had to move on!) and especially loved it during the winter. It is a bit heavy for the summer especially to layer sunscreen on top of. The odd thing is it leaves a heaving (somewhat shiny) feeling yet goes on light, if that makes sense. But during the winter months it gave my skin a radiant glow and did not bother my sensitive skin. It does however have a weird fragrance that I could do without, if you are sensitive to smell that may be a deal breaker.

This product is just amazing & I can't say enough good things about it. It has made my skin so smooth & improved the look & feel of my face. I love that a little goes a long way. This keeps my face moisturized all day.

This has a nice citrus-y smell. It's a light moisturizer and has a nice whipped/airy texture. If you have dry skin, you might need something more intense. I have normal skin and use it in the mornings before I put on make-up. At night, I use a more intense moisturizer.

I really love Philosophy products in general. I have very sensitive skin and have never had a problem with anything from their line. This moisturizer is nice to use - light but helpful.

it works great on my face... This is my favorite moisturizer. It does not cause breakouts

I was skeptical about this lotion because of the smell, but when I got it I realized it was lavender in its true form and smell and that lavender is calming. I am super oily and still break out occasionally at 32! This has been great for moisterizing and keeping my skin at bay. I would like it more in a pump, I get weirded out by sticking my fingers in and if it had SPF. I know they have an SPF one but reviews say it is not the same. It does have a natural smell but try it you might be converted!

This product does last a long time and I love it on my sensitive skin. I do try to only use it in the harsh Melbourne winter as it can be a little heavy at times so using it in Summer is out of the question. I get the product delivered for free by Fresh and its fast and reliable.

it's is a great night moisterizer, putting it on before bed it gives you a healthy 'grease-free' glow in the morning, the only reason i give it 4 stars is it smells badly, old lady-ish, i thought that it would be better to smell a bit sweeter. but it's not a pungent smell, just annoying.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT ! REALLY ALL OF THEIR PRODUCTS.

I LOVE Philosophy products. I have very sensitive skin but have never experienced any reaction & their products leave my skin smooth & supple. They can be a bit pricey, but a little goes a long way.

I have combo skin and find that Hope in a Jar is too rich for me in the warmer months, at least in the t-zone. I use Hope in a Bottle most of the year, supplemented with Hope in a Jar on my cheeks in the drier winter months. I love philosopy products and find their Makeup Optional kits a great bargain. My skin looks better now in my 40s than it did in my 20s. Considering I'm often told I look significantly younger, I won't stop using this product unless it ceases to exisit.

This moisturizer is only okay.... I'm not sure what all the hype is about. And like some of the other reviews have mentioned, there is an odd (plastic-y?) smell.
