Seems like I'm the only one unsatisfied with this product so I'm hoping I just did it wrong!! I used my husbands suit jacket for my review. I did exactly as the instructions said. I began by spraying the "Booster Spray" throughout the jacket and especially on the neck and armpit areas. I then put the jacket into the fabric protection bag and threw in the ultra cleaning cloth. I then zipped the bag up and put it in the dryer on medium heat, for 30 minutes. Just as the instructions said. When the 30 minutes were up, I got the fabric protection bag out and opened it to find my husbands suit jacket damper then it was before I put it in and an odd smell coming from it. I'm hoping I just needed a longer amount of dry time but I was extremely disappointed because I followed the exact directions and it just didn't work for me. I will try again and also share with others to see their experience with it.

I was disappointed. It really didn't get my clothes clean like I had thought. I did two wool blazers. Nothing seemed to be clean or fresh. The smell was not a fresh clean smell. It had a wierd deferent kind of smell.

When I received my Dryel kit I was a little anxious to try this. In the past I have tried other home dry cleaner kits and have not been impressed. But that was a few years ago and from reading the box and other reviews it seemed like things had improved. I have many wool type clothes that I wear throughout the year and normally I send these to the dry cleaners so that they do not shrink and come back fairly refreshed. The dry cleaner usually does a good job of getting rid of any stains and odors so I expected similar results from this kit. I used both packets to wash two loads. I followed the instructions and had 3 shirts in the first load and 4 in the second. I pretreated with the spray on the collar and under the arms as instructed. The prep was easy. I let the clothes hang to dry before making any decison on the final result. That was when disappointment set in. The shirts were fluffy and did have a scent however they still looked dirty. The collar and under arms were as dirty as when they went in and they still retained an odor. The scent from the cleaning agent had an fake smell. I was not impressed and actually disappointed. I had high hopes for this kit and was surprised to find the shirts coming out as they did. I would not purchase or recommend this product.

I was not really impressed with this product. I used it on a couple pillow shams, and while parts of them smelled fresh, other sections didn't smell necessarily clean. The dryel cloth was folded back up to itself, so maybe it didn't get around enough in the bag.

Thanks for the opportunity to try this product. I had always been curious to see if it worked. Unfortunately, I tried this product on a jacket that had a stain on the sleeve. I pretreated it with the cleaning cloth that came with the package and didn't do anything. However, for refreshing garments it worked satisfactorily. I would recommend it but only for refreshing garments - not necessarily to clean them.

I thought this product would be something I loved but it fell short. I added two pairs of shorts and two shirts into the laundry bag. I did as the instructions said and put it in the dryer. I set it to the amount of time it asked and when I removed my clothes they were wet in spots, dry in spots. Not to mention the strong perfume like odor from the product. I don't think I'll be using the dryel system again. It just didn't work well for me and my needs.

While I think that being able to "dry clean" your laundry at home is a great idea, i really don't think it's for me. I only have one or two sweaters that I would ever want to dry clean, and using one entire cleaning cloth for one item just doesn't seem worth it to me. Because I felt this way, I decided to try to spray the stain lifter on the direct stains then throw the sweatshirt in the bag and the in the dryer without using the dry cleaner cloth. I was hopeful that this might work a little bit, but it didn't. I think it would be a great idea if Dryel would come out with something like this so you don't have to use an expensive cloth on one item. In the future, I might buy this once a year for crucial items, but I'd buy it more often if I could use a stain spray on a small area on my clothes and have it be as effective as the cloth.

I think the idea was amazing but it didn't work for me...I was exiting about saving money in dry cleaners, saving time to go drop and pick clothes. After the "cleaning" finished, the clothes smell like plastic....maybe I should've open the kit and let it air....Also the clothes came up exactly the same as before. I had a dress with a stain and after all, the stain was there. I sent it to the dry cleaners the following day and it came up perfect, no stain... I won't recommend it...it didn't work...

I believe this product was a great idea but it's not for me. I wasn't very impressed with the results. The clothes smelled fresh and clean but the clothes were really wrinkly so I had to iron the pants and dress which took extra time to do.

It was very easy to use which I really liked. Plus it was so convenient to dry clean your items right at home and it is definitely more economical. However, the Dryel did not get out a small stain on my son's tie even though I used the Cleaning Booster Spray. Plus it left a dark stain on my pillow sham that wasn't there before dry cleaning it with the Dryel 30 min. in-dryer Dryel and we just finished remodeling our bedroom and painting the walls to match our bedspread. So, I was really disappointed and upset. I will not be recommending this product.

Loaded with fragrance, not hypoallergenic. I couldn't even try this product because I'm allergic to that stuff :( Making your clothes smell like perfume is not making them clean.

I gave the Dryel a test spin but was not impressed. I think the poor performance was due to the wet cloth part you place in the bag; it wadded up in the corner of the bag failing to mingle around the article in the bag, leaving the item unclean. I will try it again with a couple of items to see if it works better. I truly appreciate this opportunity to try this product. Thanks.

I didint really care for the smell and im not sure if it really works because i didnt have any stains on my clothes to prove that so i will try again with my next load

I received my Dryel kit. I had nothing to dry clean, so my daughter tried it on a few items, a dress and a blouse and sweater. Unfortunatly she was not happy with the results at all, she also very much disliked the scent. These were not the results I expected, I had thiught she would be delighted and we would both become customers of Dryel.

The first item I chose was this green dress, dry clean only, that had stains on it from wine. I sprayed the Cleaning Boosting Spray on the stains. I also picked my new dress that I only wore once, but I thought needed a refresher and my sons suit that he also only wore once. I had used the Dryel product before, but not this new one. I felt it was safe. I paced the items in the bag with the Ultra Cleaning Cloth. hen, I realized that it requires a medium heat heat setting for 30 minutes. Well, my dryer didn't have a medium heat setting. I didn't realize that till I was ready to go. I was hoping that my timed setting was medium and in went the bag. What a mistake! I also received 3 coupons valued at $2.75 in savings on Dryel products. So here is the scoop: Basically you are supposed to be able to clean your special car clothes right at home in the dryer. This includes dry cleaning without harsh chemicals. Another feature is that it will hold the shape of your sweater and preserve the color of your jeans. Want to know what really happened when I used this product? It's not pretty. Here is how it went: The first item I chose was this green dress, dry clean only, that had stains on it from wine. Then, I realized that it requires a medium heat heat setting for 30 minutes. Well, my dryer didn't have a medium heat setting. I didn't realize that till I was ready to go. I was hoping that my timed setting was medium and in went the bag. What a mistake! The Dryer removed the stains I treated on my green dress, but added several others! I think it was from the cleaning cloth. I could have cried. Okay, my fault. The dry cleaner wouldn't even touch this dress so I figured I'd give it a go, but it was an epic fail. My sons suit, was perfect. It smelled great and looked fresh. My NEW dress ruined! It wasn't even a dry clean only dress. The black color ran onto the white. I rushed it to the sink and tried to wash out the stains, but it didn't work. I'm placing blame on the manufacturer and I'm going to try to return the dress because I did care for it as the label advised. ( It was difficult to see the black stains on the photos I took because they are a light gray.) So, I think if you are cleaning jeans maybe you'll be all set, but don't try to put anything exciting in this bag. I give this a big thumbs down. Sorry Dryel, but you ruined my new dress and my old dress. I don't get out much.
