So addicting! Wow! What a thrilling book! I honestly wasn't sure I'd love this book but I truly did. It started out a little slow but then it picked up to where I couldn't put it down. You think it's a great love story but it quickly turns into a real life nightmare. So many twists and turns but so exciting! I don't want to spoil it for anyone but I definitely recommend this book. a page turner From the first chapter to the last chapter I enjoyed this book. It starts out like any love story, boy meets girl, they fall in love and get married.. but what goes on #Behindcloseddoors is not like anything you would ever dream of. The story of Jack and Grace will keep you turning pages from the beginning to the end. It is a book you won't want to put down. While Grace is as sweet as her name, Jack is one of a kind. Couldn't wait to find out how it ended! Once the story started to reveal what it was truly about this book was hard to put down. It was addictive and I read it in just three days since I couldn't wait to find out how it was going to end. At first I thought the flipping being past and present was going to be distracting, but it helped the story build and offered details that probably would have been overlooked if the story had been told chronologically. I already have 3 people who want to read it now that I've shared some (but not too much!) of the story with them. Thank you to @SheSpeaks for providing a free copy of the book for review.

Great Read! This book is addicting. I read it through in 1 week at night. Fast read and keeps you wanting more answers. Subtle hints throughout to what is going on, keep you guessing and thinking something is off here..... All you want for Grace and Millie is the perfect man, deserving and needing. The book is written in the past and present which makes it interesting and even more addicting to get to the next present or past chapter to understand more. Gave it only 4 stars because I wanted more, wanted it to be a longer, and have a little more to it. Overall - great, fast read!

A woman's intuition and a sister... Reading the reviews by women saying this story is unbelievable is clearly a woman who has not gone through atleast half of the torment that Grace had to go through in the book. While reading this book- I couldn't help but compare Grace to myself and Jack to my ex-husband. My marriage was controlling and a living hell. The thoughts that Grace had were some of the same thoughts I had until I finally found a way out and took it. Unfortunately for Grace, she had no way out. Grace's relationship with her sister is beautiful also. This book was slow to start- but once it got going, I couldn't put it down. Finished it in 2 days.

Couldn't put this one down! I'm always a little skeptical of people who appear to live perfect lives. That makes me a little jaded, I know, but no one has everything together and when people try to put up that front, I assume they?re hiding something. Sometimes it's no big deal and other times, it's something truly awful. In the case of Jack and Grace Angel, what's hidden is horrifying. They might give the appearance of being a perfect couple, but they?re far from it. I don't want to give any spoilers away, but you immediately get the impression that things aren't what they seem right from the very beginning of the book. I had to see where Behind Closed Doors was going, so I finished it all in one day. I'm so glad I did because where it went was twisted and creepy and darker than I'd imagined the secrets to be, and completely satisfying.

Must read! I was given this book directly from St. Martin's Press's to review in exchange for an honest review. At first I was a bit nervous to read it. This is a very sensitive subject matter. But I think author wrote about it extremely well. There was moments my heart raced,you stomach twisted, and I wasn't sure I could finish this book. But I did and it was fantastic. And the ending was the perfect icing to the cake.

A Must Read this Summer! From the moment it arrived, I could not put this book down. I knew that it was going to be a quick read for me and that I would finish reading it within the week. I don't have a lot of free time but I made free time for Behind Closed Doors. I needed to know what was going to happen - how it was going to end. The book got better and better as it went on. Gripping Read!! Welcome to America Ms. Paris!! I rather enjoyed this book and thought it was well paced. It isn't a book I would normally purchase but am so glad I had an opportunity to read this book! It is thanks to SheSpeaks that I received a copy of this book for free and was exposed to this author! I am so very happy I was! It was well written and the characters completely sucked you in!! I loved Grace and Millie and absolutely hated Jack. The book kept me wondering to the very end. Now I walk around more tuned in with my surroundings because you never know just who may need help. Kudos to you Ms. Paris! Great job!

A Must Read Book This book is amazing! I honestly love the suspense and drama of the book so much that I couldn't put it down. Every page leaves you wanting to find out what happens next! This is a great read for when you want to relax and enjoy a great story. Addicting!!! I received a copy of the book Behind Closed Doors by B.A. Paris for free from SheSpeaks.com for my honest review. I LOVED this book. I didnt think I would like it because it jumped between past and present but it was not hard to follow at all. The characters were wonderfully written , I couldnt put the book down. I dont get much "me" time anymore and I was afraid I wouldnt be able to finish the book but it took me about 5 hour long sessions and I was finished. I cant wait for a next book!

A must-read thriller I received Behind Closed Doors by B.A Paris from She Speaks for free. Let me start by saying this book had my heart racing throughout the story. It is so intense that I couldn't put the book down. I read it very quickly because with each turn of a page I needed to know what was going to happen next. The abuse in this book was very dark and haunting. The ending was perfect and made me love the characters more. It's a must read for any readers that enjoy suspense.

Disturbing at times, Hard to Put Down, Read it! I received a copy of Behind Closed Doors to read from SheSpeaks. I honestly had a hard time putting it down. I was completely involved in the story. I would think about the characters during the day or at night when I was getting ready to go to sleep! Since having little ones at home, I don't read as much as I used to. However, when I have a good book, I take the time to read it and usually finish it quickly. This was one of those books! I recommend it and will be passing on this copy to a friend.

There is a "Happily Ever After" in the end! This is the debut book of B.A. Paris. The main characters are Grace Harrington and Jack Angel who marry after a brief time of seeing each other. Grace is a buyer for Harrods who travels and has a younger sister named Millie with down syndrome. Grace has been her champion since before Millie was born and is now her guardian. Jack is a successful lawyer who has never lost a case and his clients are battered and abused women. To others Jack and Grace seem to have the perfect marriage and are the envy of all their friends! What's not to envy? Jack is handsome and well off. He found the perfect house in a perfect neighborhood for Grace, Millie and him to call home. The story is told from Grace's point of view and starts in the present! Each successive chapter alternates between past and present with the final chapter ending the story in the present. I experienced so many extreme emotions as I read this psychological thriller to it's stunning conclusion. I've must read it again! READ the book... Find out why it matters so much to Grace the color of Millie's bedroom!?Find out why Millie hates George Clooney! Try to answer this question, ?Would staying single been better for Grace or Jack??. Run, don't walk to this book! You won't put it down! I was so happy to received a preview copy of this book for free from She Speaks. I absolutely LOVE these kinds of books with many twists and turns. It really keeps you guessing! When other reviewers say that it is the new Gone Girl, it really is! I liked that book and movie, also! The title, Behind Closed Doors, is also very accurate and telling as to the feel of the book. You never really know what goes on "behind closed doors". Things are not always as they appear. Read this book!
