I was excited to try this product, first I had to wash and straightened 2 days before I have curly shoulder length hair and it has to be straight to run the comb through. The whole process was easy but would be so much better if I had someone to help me! The parts of my hair that was hard to get the comb even on the back to run through was a little blotchy and the highlights are a little bit noticeable nothing extreme! I left it on my hair about 35 minutes I should have left it in 50 minutes to see extreme results, would have try it again Yes but next time I will have someone help me out!

Received my kit and was disappointed that it didn't make a big difference in how my hair looks. Easy to use, but disappointing.

I received the L'Oreal Paris Superior PreferenceŽ GL70 Dark Blond to Light Brown to highlight my hair. Having colored my hair at home for 20 years with success, I was thrilled to try this new product from L'Oreal. Unfortunately I think I should have had a darker kit. The highlighter completely changed my hair in a bad way. My hair turned orange! I followed all the instructions to the tee & timed it appropriately. Frustrated, I waited a week while conditioning my hair for a fix. In the end, I had to use an all over color to correct the embarrassment. As I stated, I think I received the wrong color lift. Maybe the right one would work for someone else.

I followed the directions to the letter. I had to enlist my husband to help me. As far as this being quick & easy- quick yes, easy not so much. I held the brush as instructed and my it still clumps the cream on at the top where your supposed to be the easiest with it. The color definitely lightens up, in fact a few areas looked almost platinum to me. Even with the minimum time frame it's not consistent, I refer to my colors as calico. I have 4-5 different shades of blond/brown in my hair. The product would probably work great with some tweaking to the application, or lots of practice. I honestly don't think this is

I received a sample of L'Oreal Paris Superior Preference GLAM lights in color GL70 for dark blonde to light brown hair. I was not a fan of it. The comb didn't seem to want to work right. My hair is really thick and it just didn't want to go through the whole way. I thought it was kinda messy as well.

Love the product but I think they should rethink on the brush. The color came out good it was just applying it that was the hard part maybe come up with a brush that is attached to the bottle of color

I'm somewhat happy with the results but I did find the mixing of the chemicals to be messy - that powder got everywhere. You really have to be careful with the applicator. If you get anything except straight, solid lines, you're screwed. It will appear like blobs and chunks of lightened hair. This is bleach, so be extra careful with what you wear and what towel you use. Bleach is also tricky to time out. 25-45 minutes is a pretty big window and once you wipe it off, you're done. You can't go back and lighten those skinny strips of hair. I'm glad I tried it and lucked out on the right color and I would be better at it next time - it takes a little getting used to.

I gave this product three stars because it left a little bit of an orange tint to my daughters hair. This does smell great and left her hair soft and shiny. I like the ease of the brush but prefer a cap or foil.

I received a sample of L'Oreal Paris Superior Preference GLAM lights in color GL70 for dark blonde to light brown hair. I just colored my hair and I'm a little disappointed since highlights came out more on the orange side and I expected it to be more blonde. Thus I only gave 6 stars. It still doesn't look bad, highlights blend well with my hair and look natural. The instructions were clear and brush was easy to use.

Let me preface this by saying I am a beauty school dropout. Haha. I am not even kidding. I quit when I realized I didn't have the patience or eye for hair. Haha. I have zero issue with paying somebody to color my hair. I have missed one too many spots or totally messed up the color to trust myself. However, highlights are insanely expensive. I have skipped doing them because they cost too much! I enlisted the help of my sister to apply the L'oreal Glam Lights to my hair. It was pretty quick to apply but not easy, since I have a lot of hair, one box isn't enough. I was able to gain a few highlights but not a lot. I thought the payoff looked nice but I definitely needed a second box. All in all, this is definitely a product that you can use for home based highlighting for the do-it-yourself girl or guy!

was excited to try this since my hair has been untreated for quite some time due to my desire to stay away from harsh chemicals during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Now it was my time to treat myself and breathe new life into my hair without breaking the bank. It seemed straight forward and easy enough...you just mix and apply color to the comb. This was much less intimidating that putting on a cap and pulling hair through with a crochet hook of sorts. However; I wish I would've had help with the application of the product. I have long curly hair and it does go down below my shoulders. Trying to separate my hair so I could apply color underneath and directly behind was a bit tricky. How was the color underneath not supposed to transfer to more locks once the top portion was put down and colored? Perhaps it would have been best to do the bottom separately and revisit the top after the bottom was rinsed (just a thought). The instructions stressed multiple times the importance of testing on a swatch to get the timing right as well as keeping the comb upright. I found if I kept the comb upright and followed the directions to a 'T,' the color didnt transfer well the full way and there was a lot left on the comb. I was worried about blotches of color instead of strands. So, honestly, I did it my own way. I went at an angle and it worked well for me. I will say though, if you have curly hair, perhaps its best to straighten it prior to color so you can really work the comb and color through your tresses well. I would do that if I ever decide to try this again. Overall the process was fairly simple and straight-forward. I think the color is a little brassy but I may be able to soften it up once I get some sunshine kissing my hair. I would be likely to try this again in another year or so, but it wouldn't be something I'd 'have to have.' For the ease of use, I'd recommend to a friend

This is a great highlight system that was easy to use and turned out great. I do think they should have taken the time to explain the brush since the middle one is different from the rest and knowing how much to apply there is important. I also think they should recommend that long hair people highlight the bottom as well. A little more detail on the directions would be helpful. The product turned out great and the best part is that the highlights look NATURAL and not so in your face.

I tried this product and for me it was an ok product. From comparison of before and after pics you can see the difference in pictures. None of my family or friends could tell I did anything to my hair. I did however only leave it in for the least amount of time (25 min). That could have been why I didn't see much difference. I will probably use this product again and leave it on longer since it did not in any way make my hair feel different or damage it. The page to upload pics of before and after would not work for me so I can show the results.

I got the GL70. I chose to use it to actually low lite my hair. I have light blonde hair that has natural hi lite due to have grey and white roots and I've always colored at home using professional dye. I have a cosmetology license but don't work in the industry anymore. The new applicator is neat. I started by sectioning me hair and doing it on quadrants. It was a little difficult to mix but I've used worse. After 45 mins my desired color was reached and I washed out. It left my hair pretty well blended and soft.

This was a great product. I like how easy it was to apply. The over all smell wasn't to bad. It was strong but I have smelled stronger. I think I may need two boxes next time. I have really thick hair. I like that it looks professional with the fraction of the cost. Happy Happy
