I live in a smaller town and it really narrows down my restuarant choices. Not only that but 1/2 the time the place I choose is "not available at this time." The deals are great but I've had a restaurant tell me they hate when people come in with those (needless to say I don't eat there anymore). If you can find a good deal on a restaurant you like, buy it!!

I think it's a great idea. My sister has used it and had great luck with it with restaurants in her area. In my area, there wasn't many that participated in it. I would definitely do it if there were more places in Delaware that participated.

Its legitimate, but you have to read the fine print! almost all the places that accept them require a minimum purchase plus a gratuity (somewhere in 18% range)..don't think of it as a "gift card" but more of a coupon.

My husband and I don't often spend the amount required to be able to redeem the certificate. Our evening certificate requires that we spend $35. - Yet this restaurant is priced so that I could order two of the top priced menu items, and would not meet the required $35. However, the lunch time certificates much easier to redeem.

It seems there are many concerns about getting these certificates and then not having them accepted when at the restaurant

The idea of buying a $25 gift certificate for $10 is great but only if you can do it over the internet. The website wan not working for me so I called the 800 number to make my purchase and the guy was rude. He told me to clean out my cookies and register online and when I tried to do it while I had him on the line he was annoyed that I was unsuccesful and he had to register me himself. He was then very short with me and I tried quickly to complete my transaction and get off the phone. I won't use them again. It's true what they say... "If you have a great experiance somewhere you tell a friend. If you have a horrible experiance you tell 7 friends."

I have tried to use this website, but there are not any restaurants for anywhere near where I live. The closest ones are 45+ miles away, and are for places I have never heard of. They need to expand.

I thought the concept of restaurant.com was great, but have purchased certificates and then never used them. I moved to a rural area where there is only one restaurant on the web site. When I got to the restaurant there was a sign up that they were no longer accepting restaurant.com certificates, so it was a waste for me again. My experiences thus far have not been positive.

I have also visited this site for restaurants gift cards. But they did not have a good selections of restaurants in my area. I'm sorry to hear about your experience with this company. However, I thank you for making me aware of other concerns about this company.

There are No Choices in my area. I'd have to drive an hour and a half North to Philly. And it's not like I live in "the Middle of Nowhere"

There are no restaurants where I live. There are some available if I drive 30 minutes to the big city. In addition, the restaurants are very expensive restaurants and have quite a few restrictions on when the coupons can be used. Mostly a dissapointing web site.

I have checked this website out several times, but still they seem to only service the larger metropolitan areas. I wish there were more choices!

It woulud be alright, except there are only about 10 restaurants on here that are in our town, and they are restaurants that I don't like. You would think more restaurants could participate, it would be a great deal if they didn.

I had found restaurant.com on an online blog that was advertising 80% off. Naturally I thought I was getting a super fabulous deal and I rushed right over to buy some certificates. I STILL haven't used my certificates due to the fine print. I understand that the goal is to get you in the door, but my family rarely dines out and would much rather prefer to do take out. Also the gift certificate for the Melting Pot seemed to be great as I wanted to use it on Girls Night Out, but yeah... Unfortunately you can only use it on the $100 meals...

I visit this website every once in awhile when I get an email about their "sales" and I can NEVER find restaurants in my area that I'm interested in. I live in a small town and the choices are minimal and for those that do participate, they put so many restrictions on the certificates (they should really just call them coupons since you typically have a minimum purchase) that it doesn't make it a good deal. Have never purchased one but I would love to try it if they could get more restaurants to participate.
