Not worth buying. If you do, be sure to keep your receipt - you'll be returning it.

My roommate bought one for her dog, and it was commical to watch her try to use it on the dog. The dog hated it and was completely uncooperative. It takes longer to use this thing than to just clip the dogs nails. -- I would NOT subject my dog to this contraption.

I made the mistake of buying this for a whopping twenty dollars. I tried to do it to my friends dog and we had to wrestle him down the floor and it stunck! Like burning I don't even know. If you buy it get some sedatives and a nose plug and nail clippers because you'll end up using those instead

I followed the instructions to help my dog adapt to the sound and all was good until her nail hit the rotating head and she flipped out. Neither her or our other dog will allow us to hold the product even while it's off without finding the nearest place to hide. Great Idea, not practical and a complete waste of money.

I hate this product it doesn't have enough power when I tried to clip my dogs nails the dremel acualy stopped when it touched the nail boooooo

Good concept, but my Boston Terrier was terrified of this even though I "eased" her into it as per the instructions. Scared the CRAP out of her. Can't even imagine trying this with a cat! If you are gonna use it on a cat that would mean your kitty would have some seriously sharp claws to begin with. I would suggest some safety glasses and other protective measures!!!!!

I bought this and tried to use it once. My Dog was injured by it. So I call the company and got a refund. I threw the contraption away.

My mom bought this for me as I have 4 cats and 2 dogs (a Boston ter. and a Husky) - NONE of them liked it. And I found it was much easier, less tramatic and more cost efficient to use the nail clipper on the dogs and just put smart claws (paws) on the cats.

I compared PediPaws with PetiCure and sprung for the PetiCure for an extra $10 ($30). PetiCure is much quieter and I've used it on my six small dogs several times since I bought it and it's still going strong without having to recharge. It also has different sized guides so you choose the size of your dog's nail so it won't get stuck. Yes, it's a glorified dremel, but it's a lot better than the cheap copy that is PediPaws and my dogs aren't afraid of it. Granted, I got them used to it by just holding it while it was running, while petting them and giving them treats. It's all a matter of conditioning them with positive reinforcement. It does a good job and leaves the nails smooth and snag-free.

I hate it. My dogs hate it. They run when they see me comign with it and they try to nip at me when I trim their nails with it. Deffinatly NOT worth buying.

I wasted my money on this item for sure. My dog which is a Pit/boxer said, no way and she she went nuts pulling away and boxing me. She usually listens pretty good, but when I turn this thing on she goes wild.

I agree with most of the user comments in that PediPaws is a waste of money. I have two dogs - one a 4-year-old pit bull/bulldog, & the other a 1 1/2-year-old beagle. Neither of my dogs is skiddish but, like most dogs, they don't like having their nails clipped. Daisy (the Beagle) will not let you get within five feet of her with this tool, whether it is on or off! Buddy (the pit bull/bulldog) will let you use it on his nails, but is very outwardly expressive of the fact that he doesn't enjoy it - he mopes & scowls. :) My father uses his dremmel tool on his dog (an approximately 12-year-old yourshire terrier) and the dog puts up with it, but that's about it. Overall, I would suggest you not waste your hard-earned money on this joke of a product.

i hate this product. it is quieter but still scares the dog away and is ok if you feel like sitting around for an hour or more to file your dogs nails. much easier to just use clippers. i definitely don't recommend this product.

In a nutshell, this product is a joke! Save your money. The noise it makes scares the animals too much to see if it really works. Take out the C batteries it requires and throw this junk out.

I have 2 dogs and both can't stand this thing..the vibration it makes is very uncomfortable for them..same as using a sander on them....
