Awful I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. I absolutely love tampax pearl only brand I will wear but these are just awful the tube kept closing when I was trying to use which was no fun as you could imagine and it seemed like I couldn't get it up high enough it wasn't comfortable like they usually are i do love the idea of it fits great in Jean pocket which are stupidly small so fix the applicator and it would be 5 stars

AWFUL!!! Doesn't offer that much protection and that backup doesn't work AT ALL!!! I wish it did the full 360 expand except just expanding left to right, that DOES NOT offer any protection. I don't have a heavy flow but with these I always leaked out. NOT A GOOD CHOICE! Just went to by store brand, so good thing i didn't waste my money on buying. I did like the packaging and the easy to go look but other than that didn't like them. Thanks for the free sample!

Not worth it. I prefer using sanitary pads than tampons. But I do occasionally use tampons, so I decided to try this product. When I first received the tampons, the first thing I noticed was how beautiful the packaging was. I love how it's so colorful and pleasant to look at. I usually use Kotex tampons, so this was my first time trying a Tampax product. I liked how it was compact but other than that I found my experience to be quite disappointing. The applicator doesn't click into place well. It was quite a struggle to insert the tampon, which essentially wasted my time and energy. Therefore, I'll be sticking with Kotex tampons instead. I felt the applicator was flimsy but it was until the plunger slid right through the top and got stuck that I knew I would never use this product again. It took a very embarrassing trip to the ER to remove it.

So when I got my samples I was so excited to see a full size box and I usually LOVE the compact tampons. Tampax you have finally disappointed me. The applicators do not "click" easily to insert. when I'd finally get it to click in place go to insert, the bottom of the applicator would fall out of place again or not even push up the tampon. I wasted more tampons than I used. I'm so glad these were a free sample and I know now not to waste my money.

Applicator is unreliable These were horrible. The applicator was completely unreliable. I made the mistake of taking these along on vacation and had to make an extra run to go get more tampons, because only about 1 in 3 would work correctly. I will never purchase these. Which is sad, because I love the original tampax pearl and was looking forward to the travel size of these. Wishing for a better design and material After receiving a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and express my own opinions I always excited to test the New Pearl Tampon Tampax. The name itself made me think the material and design would be gentle and easy to use like a pearl. Although usually prefer pads I do use tampon for outdoor activities such as swim and hiking, I have made multiple attempts to use the new Pearl Tampon but had no luck with the applicator and the tampon itself splitting in half after using it. Although generally love the Tampax brand this is not my favorite product.

It was difficult to get the tampon out of the plastic while trying to use it and to keep the popout part of the handle to stay popped out.
