The compact size is great. One of the small parts actually didn't come out when I pulled out the applicator and threw away. It was uncomfortable because of that. Unfortunately I did not know this until I went to remove the tampon. More than 1 time the applicator came apart while I was trying to insert it.

These are not for me. These aren't very easy to insert correctly. Over half of my box i believe is defective. I had to manually stick the piece in me with my finger instead of the plastic working correctly. They are expensive. The small size seemed like a plus, but in reality it was not. I had a lot of discomfort every time i used them. These are not somwthing I will use again. ?I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions.?

Fail. Love the package, hate the tampon. I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. I really liked the package, for some reason, the way the top opens is just pleasant? I found the tampons to be horrible though. I like the idea of pocket tampons that turn into full size tampons, but the when the tube part pops up it doesn't STAY up, so it's not easy to insert the tampon, and it doesn't go in all the way. fail.

Not for me. I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. Anything new? I don't use for the recommended time. So I tried two of these. Both of them for a little under 4 hours. Not happy with this product and will not be changing from my regular product. Pros: Nicely designed plastic encasement. Discreet size. No problems with the applicator. Cons: When it expands in your body it becomes a weird rectangle shape and the part where the string is affixed is now visible. Never left it in for over 4 hours but it 'looks? like the string could have separated at any time. There was also residual discomfort after removal of product, most likely caused by the weird shape it became or maybe the glue or whatever they used to affix the string caused a scratch or something like that. Had discomfort with both tries. I tried the product for the second time, just to make sure that the first one wasn't a ?oops? product that wasn't formed well. I was wrong, this is apparently how the product comes. I'm happy other ladies haven't had issues, don't notice the issues, or don't care about the issues. However, this product (as it is now) is not for me.

Applicator isn't reliable (big surprise)... (I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions.) This is exactly why I prefer non-applicator tampons to ones with applicators- they are even smaller, have much less wasted packaging, and have basically no room for error; unlike these: the applicators don't click into place easily and once they do, they usually un-click while inserting. So you end up having to push the tampon back into the applicator and trying again. This can take multiple attempts to get right, which is time consuming and annoying. This brings to question something I ask myself VERY often- do these companies even bother TRYING the products they put on the shelves? Or are they just throwing it against the wall and hoping it sticks? (In other words- seeing the flaws and coming out with the product anyway, hoping consumers don't complain.) My guess would be the latter. These feminine care products are always far more concerned with how the product LOOKS than how it WORKS. It makes me really mad, especially seeing how much they charge people for these NECESSARY items. The products should only be designed by women. There needs to be much less work put into making the products "thin" and "sleek" and "pretty", and much more work put into the product NOT LEAKING and WORKING/FITTING PROPERLY. I personally could care less how the product looks. As for the absorbency, it was the same as any other size "regular" tampon. Anyway. I will stick to my non-applicator tampons. Every time I try the ones with applicators I have problems.

(I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions.) This product really fails in terms of ease of use. I hate click applicator tampons because the applicator never fails to, well, FAIL. The applicator on this one is no different, its flimsy and it kept collapsing back in on itself making for difficult insertion and incorrect placement: the tampon winds up in the wrong place and feels really uncomfortable. Fortunately, I didn't leak while using these but the discomfort and difficulty of use prevent me from liking this product or finishing the box. The tampon is cutely packaged but I don't really care what a tampon looks like as long as it works and as for the compact size adding to discretion, I don't really care about that either. People need to get over the fact that women have periods and need to use tampons. If you're using this in a public restroom, chances are, there are other women who are also on their periods and if they aren't they know what tampons are and don't care. As it is, I will probably only use these as backup tampons to stash in my bags and makeup cases, I find them too unreliable for regular use.

Disappointed received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. I prefer the regular tampons. I had multiple unsuccessful attempts with using these tampons. After a while, I gave up on using them.

Not a fan I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. I agree with another reviewer that these applicators are not reliable. They also aren't very intuitive. I had to check the box to figure out you have to pull it all the way out until it clicks before inserting, which is fine, but usually it's kind of self-evident what you're supposed to do. But I got that part down and then had the opposite problem - it wouldn't UN-click when inserting and it was super awkward. There was no need to improve upon this design feature - normal applicator tampons work fine. The absorbency I found to be comparable to other regular absorbency tampons.

A New Look, Same Brand I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. Well, Tampax, to be honest, no matter what "new" spin you try to give your tampons, they just don't work! Let's go beyond the actual tampon (which almost always leaks, is sometimes difficult to insert and take out, and is shaped so unlike the inside of a vagina) and look at the 'new and improved' features you've added. The box is beautiful and I suppose it would garner the attention of the newest teenage girl, but as a woman, I would not purchase the loud packaging. The application failed on many attempts and occasions. Either the applicator wouldn't snap no matter how much I tried or twisted, or once it did, it would 'unsnap' while attempting to insert the tampon. Now, Tampax, picture your time of the month (if there are any woman on the Tampax board). Picture not only leaking, no matter that sometimes the tampon is not actually full (there is still white), but also picture going into a stall at work, in public restaurants and other places, and picture spending at least five minutes attempting to 'snap' the tampon to make it regular size. Let's say we are actually successful (after all we only brought two to four with us). Then upon trying to insert the tampon, it 'unsnaps' and the tampon doesn't insert properly. Since I am suppose to get a new tampon, I do. The original tampon is difficult to get out all the while my hand(s) are getting a little messy. Did you picture it, if you could? Now picture this happening to a preteen in middle school, a cheerleading in high school, a businesswoman heading to a board meeting. Back to the drawing board, Tampax.

Big on convenience small on reliability I am an avid tampon user especially the tampax pearl. But the Pocket Pearl was not up to par with the Original. It was very frustrating making it work for my personal use.The "click'' didnt work properly instead it would go through the tampon and would need to throw it out, just trying to make it work.Iwould not buy nor recommend the pocket size pearl until the mechanics of it is sturdy and reliable.

?I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions.? If i could give these zero or even negative stars, I would. The applicator is terrible, doesn't click into place and when it does it doesn't stay in place making them time consuming, messy and difficult to use. I am better off just using a non applicator variety. The absorbency is not good or bad, but uneven and could seriously use improvement . These feel very rough like there are still bigger cotton fibers in them that need to be removed. Overall, I hate these.

Not Impressed I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. I liked the packaging and "small purse size" of the product. What I didn't like was the applicator...It is too short and it doesn't easily click into place making it really hard for comfortable insertion and wear. I'm sure it would have been a good product had I been able to use it easily.

Disappointment I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. I tried using once and the applicator was a complete fail. That was it for me. I went back to my Kotex!

Awful I received a free sample of Tampax to try from SheSpeaks and the following are my own opinions. I absolutely love tampax pearl only brand I will wear but these are just awful the tube kept closing when I was trying to use which was no fun as you could imagine and it seemed like I couldn't get it up high enough it wasn't comfortable like they usually are i do love the idea of it fits great in Jean pocket which are stupidly small so fix the applicator and it would be 5 stars

AWFUL!!! Doesn't offer that much protection and that backup doesn't work AT ALL!!! I wish it did the full 360 expand except just expanding left to right, that DOES NOT offer any protection. I don't have a heavy flow but with these I always leaked out. NOT A GOOD CHOICE! Just went to by store brand, so good thing i didn't waste my money on buying. I did like the packaging and the easy to go look but other than that didn't like them. Thanks for the free sample!
