I sprayed this on myself and I almost gagged. they say that perfume smells different on everyone. however this one just isn't for me.

I recently purchased Donna Karan Cashmere Mist. I had smelled it several years ago, and it sort of reminded me of a baby, after putting good smelling baby powdered on it. The perfume was not cheap, even though I got a large bottle, but after spraying it on my wrist, and a tad under my ears, the smell is not strong, not that I wanted it to be, but it is so light, that you can barely smell it. In other words for me, unless I put my nose on it, I can barely smell it. I like a fragrance that is not strong, but when someone comes up close, or even myself, I can smell it.

This smelled like another fragrance that I used to own. Nothing new although comforting. It is definitely powdery.

I've been wearing Casmere Mist for about 7 years. The perfume does have a powdery scent to it, but it's not too flowery. What I like best is that it captures both a light flowery scent (jasmine and lily) as well as a deeper woodsy undertones (sandalwood and musk) which makes it great for day and night. The scent stays on well and it isn't necessary to reapply throughout the day however it is very pleasing to smell. It is not overpowering at all. If you are looking for a great long wear, all season, everyday scent Donna Karan hit the mark with this fragrance. It is a great choice if you are looking for a signature scent that you can carry with you through many occasions in your life.

I don't know anyone who doesn't enjoy the creamy, powdery aroma

Lovely scent! One of my favorites!! I get so many compliments when I wear it. It's scent is pretty stong, so you have to be sure not to over do it!

I think Cashmere Mist smells like clothes that have just come out of the dryer- it is a soft and comfy scent. The one thing I do notice is that, much like other perfumes, a little goes a long way. More than one spritz of Cashmere Mist can be overpowering. But I truly do enjoy this scent and have worn it several times since it came on the market.

Nice scent. Very soft and warm. It does strengthen throughout the day, so it is best not to wear too much or it will become overpowering. I love it.

This has always been my go to .but it's probably me because it doesn't last for a long time and I need to reapply it .I will still use it always but it is expensive .
