i did not like this at all! it made my face too cakey and i felt like a ghost wearing this. not my fave from rimmel

This was simply ok for me. It is good for a throw in the purse in an emergency quick coverage situation. I would not use it as an everyday powder though. It does look like you are for sure wearing a face powder, which is a huge turn off for me. I like my makeup to look as if I am not wearing any yet covers up what I need it to and this powder, simply did not do that for me.

One of my favorite setting powders is the translucent shade. It is almost impossible to "cake" on and it sets foundations and under eye concealers really well. I don't find myself having to reset or touch up my makeup as frequently when I use this as a setting powder on top. I use it with a large fluffily brush not a puff.

Ok

It's a really affordable face powder! I believe I bought it at target for under $3! I do have acne prone skin though so I'm not sure whether it was the powder or my face but I broke out often while using this.

I like this powder more than other brands, because I have extremely oily skin. But it still seems to sit on top of my skin and make it look like I am wearing a lot of make-up, but I have yet to find one that doesn't. As far as keeping the shine down, it does a great job of that, as long as your not doing something extremely strenuous.

I have combination-oily skin. This powder mattifies my skin when first applied, which is typical of powder. To me, face powder is like a necessary devil. I would use it if I have to; but if I have perfect skin, I would rather not. The great thing about this powder is it does not look too thick or cakey after application. Does not last all day. I still get quite a bit of shine in the hot seasons. For $6, it's a very good powder. The fact that it's compact makes it a good product for travel purposes. However, the lid does come off easily.

This is a decent affordable powder. It's not amazing but it's good for a light makeup look. Doesn't cake up and allows you to look more natural.

It has moderate coverage. I use mine as a setting powder and it works pretty well.

This product was okay one problem if my face got oily it look really patchy... but on a good day it looked amazing.

I liked this powder, but that's probably as good as it gets for me. Mine ALWAYS ended up shattering though I could never remember dropping it. The coverage is okay, but nothing special.

I love the texture of this powder. I only use this to set my foundation and it does a pretty good job. The only thing that I did not like was that it does not help my face stay matte longer that 4 hours which is not that bad so I would still recommend it

This powder is fantastic. It's light, covers shine, and blends well with my skin tone, even if I get more tan. It's at a great price, too. I did have one cover crack on me when it was brand new though.

LOVE LOVE LOVE. I have extremely oily skin and this is a must have in my collection. I have several, one for home, one for the car, one for my purse...you get the idea. Great for touch ups as it has a pretty good amount of coverage on it's own and doesn't look heavy or cakey. Also great for setting foundation and holding the shine at bay and it's cheap! Wish it had a mirror and maybe sturdier packaging however because it shatters very easily.

This is one of the best drugstore products out there and one of the most affordable. I think its great for anyone starting out with makeup because Rimmel offers a variety of shades and its also available in translucent. This powder will keep you shine free or matte like it says for a long period of time. Just be sure not to overapply. Use a light hand, preferably a large fluffy powder brush like Sigma F30 or Real Techniques Powder or blush brush and try to focus on areas of your face that tend to get oily i.e. T-ZONE and with whatever you have left on your brush, just light dust over other areas of your face and your all set. Its cheap, works well, doesn't cause breakouts, fool-proof. Buy it!!!
