My aunt gave me this book to read one summer and warned me I would cry. She said she had given it to my uncle to read one time when he had a long flight and he was so mad at her because he cried on the plane in front of all those people. Truly a classic story of a boy and his dogs. If this story doesn't pull at your heart strings...

I fell in love with this book when I was in the 5th grade (I am now 50 yrs. old). I almost NEVER read a book more than once, but this is the exception. I read it over and over, and yes, I cried every time!!!!

Bring your tissues this one will bring the tears. Great book I have read over and over.
