I think the recipes are quick and easy. Definitely great to have but I don't use it for everyday cooking because not all the recipes are low fat healthy conscious focused.

I love Rachel Ray and her cookbooks. I own 4 of her cookbooks and have tried many different recipes. She is amazing and I recommend any of her cookbooks!

I chose this cookbook because I wanted to get into the habit of working with my children, enjoying the art of cooking and the company of one another. I wanted to focus on things that they could do, things that they were able to accomplish. Rachael Ray has created the perfect family friendly cookbook for my family. With the easy to make recipes, this book comes full of colorful photographs, easy to read instruction and steps to making a healthy meal suitable for the family. I'd recommend this book to anyone with young children, its a way to spark their creativity. Since purchasing this book, my two pre-teens, have offered to make dinner, and they have both created an entire meal including dessert on their own (with supervision of course) and they even went through my coupon book and to the grocery store to obtain their ingredients. Rachael Ray's Yum-o! has definitely been a great addition to our cookbook collection.
