When I first heard about argan oil, I was skeptical as I thought it would make my skin greasy. Three years later and a daily user of Kae argan oil proved me wrong on my first impression. At 50, my skin looks wonderful. Kae L'Huile de Beaute argan oil is 100% organic, absorbs quickly, and is a perfect morning and before bed moisturizer. Even if you don't have dry skin it works wonders in repairing and hydrating. I even use it to take off eye makeup. There are other brands I have tried but Kae (was Kaeline before) is best by far. You want to make sure that whatever brand you use ensures cold processing and filtered vs. other methods of oil extraction. Also, don't be fooled into thinking the highly advertised hair products that say they are "argan oil" are the real thing! They contain silicones with a small amount of argan oil. Which is fine for the hair albeit a little deceptive... It is the silicones that make the hair shiny and coated, and the artificial perfumes that make it smell so nice, not the tiny bit of argan oil. But these hair products are not OK to use on your skin. I use the 100% pure argan oil as a light conditioner after washing and towel drying my hair. All I can say is "wow" as it really adds a nice smoothness to my curly mop. I am a recent convert to natural skin care after many years of on-and-off love affairs with the latest moisturizer release of the major brands. Kae argan oil products work or I wouldn't be 1) still using them, or 2) writing this review. Now don't get me wrong, I still love my Lancome and am simply rabid about Smashbox eye shadows. But to me, the best makeup foundation begins with clean hydrated skin and that is what argan oil does for me each and every day.
