I used to use this product all of the time. I loved the smell and the way my skin would feel when I was finished using it. In recent months I found out, from a dermatologist, that whatever they use for exfoliant in this product, it has been awhile since I have used this product, actually produces micro tears in your skin. I was told that if you want to use an exfoliant on your face that you should make sure the exfoliant properties are round and smooth which will not tear your skin.

This product was too rough for my skin. It felt like it was scratching my skin. :(

This is an affordable facial scrub and smells good HOWEVER too harsh for my skin as I have sensitive skin. If you're someone who has sensitive skin, stay away!

You shouldn't use scrubs that contain natural exfoliation particles such as seeds or nuts. They have jagged edges that cause microscopic tearing in the skin allowing for bacteria to get in. I'd recommend switching to the Green Tea scrub by St. Ives if you like the brand.

I would not recommend this for someone who has sensitive skin. It is too rough and harsh on the skin. It irritated my skin and it fell dry. I do love the smell.

not a big fan- supposed to help with blackheads and prevent from breaking out- unfortunately it did neither, it actually made me break out. would not recommend this to anyone.

Horrible Please dont use this on your skin!! The little beads in this scrub create micro tears in your skin over time which leads to dry skin, acne and creates texture (and everyone wants smooth skin, right??) I work in the beauty industry and went to cosmetology school. I have so many friends that are estheticians. This stuff is horrible for your skin

To harsh I never liked this scrub. I think the shells are way to rough on the face in this. It never helped with breakouts. Yes it's a great price and lasts awhile but it's not worth anything if it doesn't help with acne. Just an uncomfortable product.

I was really excited to try this product, but ended up less than impressed. I normally like things that are apricot scented, but I did not like the way this smelled at all! I was very glad I just had a little trial of it

This product smells nice but it was too harsh for my skin.

I would not recommend this! I am in school to become an esthetician and have seen what this does to the skin. Not good! Too rough and jagged for the skin

I used this on my body only since the tiny seed particles can cause damage to skin. I have dry skin and need to exfoliate regularly but I would prefer a gentler product.

This item was the first scrub I ever tried because of reviews and blogs. I thought it was too rough for my skin. Upon immediate use I thought it was okay, but with continued use (2x a week) it became too harsh. I am combination/oily and occasionally have breakouts. After using this product, my skin was extremely red and sensitive to the touch and I do not consider myself to have sensitive skin. I have found other great products that do the job and do not feel like my skin is stripped.

Ok,one positive aspect of this product is the fresh fragrance it has. Unfortunately this did not bode well for my skin.I purchased excited about the idea that they used a natural exfoliant. The granules were so big compared to some scrubs I've used in the past. It was so harsh on the skin and caused breakouts. I know some that swear by this scrub. It just didn't work well for me.

I used this for a while, but now my skin is more sensitive and the original is too rough. Good to know that they have come out with on for Sensitive Skin.
