I have found that allot of e.l.f. cosmetics are not made for women of color. That is why i gave it one star.

I find that the majority of the elf products I have tested are terrible. Their eyeshadows are decent. However, in order to feel content with the look of my eyeshadows; I have to use an eye primer when I wear put them on. If iI do not they fade away within a few hours. I do not like the mascara because it makes my eyelashes go completely flat. THEIR FACE PRIMER makes my breakout, and the overall quality of the brushes, eyelash curlers and even their packaging looks and feels generic. I would rather wear Wet n Wild over ELF products. Not that I would, but if that was my choice, I am very picky about what goes on my face, and ELF products is not one of them.

I tried the face products and they where orange. The mineral powder was awful and the pressed face powder was orange as well. The lip gloss how ever was great.

This brand of products did nothing for me.

What can I say? You get what you pay for. The price of these cosmetics are a lot cheaper than most but at the same time the quality isn't too good.

Affordable.....cheap coverage....cheap brushes.....not good kind of cheap

I LOVE the way the makeup works and the price point. However, the ingredients are less than favorable. I would still recommend to a friend but make sure they would be aware of the ingredients.

You get what you pay for While I will be the first to admit that I have used Elf products in the past, the only reason I bought them was because they were insanely cheap. My go-to used to be the eyebrow kit. But I started noticing that every time I used one of their products, they would irritate my skin. I have sensitive skin, so it could have just been because of that, but I've noticed the overall quality, while not TERRIBLE, isn't that GREAT. I purchased one of their primers, and all it did was make my skin feel greasy.

I was given false information about the product line, and never received my full purchase. i contacted customer service, who never returned my call. Overall the product is ok, but i would not order again.

I like what I ordered. The starter minerals kit. Eyelash curler, eye cremes, and 2 in 1 mascara. I usually use Covergirl cosmetics, and these measured up to those and were cheaper.

I've ordered lip gloss from ELF and enjoy it. The shipping was super fast and the price was great! They did include some samples that were crap though.

I found e.l.f. eyeshadow at K-mart in Gresham. Tried it, not impressed. The eyeshadow did not blend well, it was flaky, did not last long, and layering did not intensify the color. This would be most appropriate for girls beginning to use makeup w/o looking like a clown. I gave my niece the eyeshadow and she's in love.

I have to give them a 3/5 because I have been over the moon with products (lip gloss, cream eye shadow, chap stick, shimmery facial whip) and also very disappointed (cover stick, pink eyeshadow, blush, broken packaging, eye liner, sticky lip gloss, changes in chap stick ingredients). For a buck, it is well worth trying. The shimmery facial whip is my favorite because I tend to look clown-y with blush on, this is light and smooth and shimmery (yet terribly packaged)! Like I said, try it. If you hate it, toss it or pass it on if possible for someone else to try. That was how I fell in love with the facial whip!

Its worth the cost. It lasts for a rather long time on my skin though, so I can't complain.

some items are a little hit or miss but i love the concealer/highlighter duo and felt eyeliner marker, for the price it's good to try products to get acquainted with how to use them
