latley i have been cooking almost every day in my slow cooker. it is amazing and makes yummy food...i had to get a larger one because the other one i had was way too small and there was never any left overs and when you are cooking a meal in a slow cooker that takes 8 days..lol to cook you def want left overs....anyone else lovin their slow cookers?

I used to have 5 crockpots, my husband made me sell two of them! I love, love, love them. I have my original that has just the right amount of heat, but it's over 20 years old. I have one I bought about 10 years ago, but it heats a lot hotter than my good, ol' reliable one. The last one I kept is called a "duet" I believe. It's sectioned into two separate parts in the main bowl. I use this mainly to keep appetizers warm. I can put meatballs on one side and something like a dip or chicken wings on the other. I cook with my crockpot all the time. I make appetizers, main courses and deserts. There are tons of great cookbooks and Yahoo has a good slow cooker group. I think this is one of the best appliances I have in my kitchen!

I have one and use it occasionally but I really need to make a good habit of cooking with it while I'm at work, more. Does anyone know how much nutrition is lost for cooking food so long? Or is any?

I started using my slow cooker for the past couple of months. I love it. I use it for everthing and the food come out so good.

I love my slow cooker .I have 3 of them and I could use more around the Hoildays.I use my cookers for roasts,soups,chili,stews,you name it I use them all the time.When,I was working they were my best friend as dinner was done when I got home and so it was ready when my family came home,no matter what time.

The slow cooker is one of the better inventions of all time, and I definitely love mine. I am always on the lookout for new recipes to use it with, especially healthier ones, but some of the dessert ones I've seen are amazing, too!

I have made only one thing in my crock pot ,that's pizza meat balls for subs. I need more recipes.

Me too! I use it once a week. I use it for soups, chili, roasts, breakfast casseroles, Love both of mine!

yes that is my baby lol i receive an email every other day with recipes for the cooker can not wait to try chicken marsala and pumpkin bread pudding i keep trying to get my girlfriend to buy one as she has a hrad time cooking and really you can not screw up cooking in a crock pot plus you can bake which is another added bonus go crock pots
