Pumpkin season is here. From cozy recipes to DIYs, beauty tips, and décor, pumpkins can do it all. Discover how to make the most of fall's favorite ingredient and your chance to win a $50 TJ Maxx / Marshalls / HomeGoods gift card.

In the Kitchen

Pumpkin isn’t just for pie. It brings comfort and flavor to everything from breakfast to dinner.
  • Pumpkin Bread or Muffins: Bake pumpkin purée with warm spices into quick breads or muffins.
  • Simple Pasta Sauce: Whisk pumpkin purée with cream, garlic, and parmesan for a cozy pasta sauce.
  • Pumpkin Hummus: Blend pumpkin purée with chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, and cumin for a seasonal dip.
  • Breakfast Boost: Swirl into oatmeal or pancake batter with cinnamon and maple syrup.

Naturally Nourish

Packed with vitamins A, C, and E, pumpkin is a skin-loving superstar.
  • DIY Face Mask: 2 tbsp pumpkin  purée + 1 tsp honey + 1 tbsp yogurt = 15 minutes to brighter skin.
  • Autumn Body Scrub: Pumpkin purée + brown sugar + coconut oil for smooth, glowing skin.
  • Pumpkin Power Smoothie: Blend with banana, almond milk, and cinnamon after a workout.

Home Sweet Home

Simple swaps can bring the feeling of fall indoors.
  • Hollow pumpkins as rustic vases for mums or dried grasses.
  • Pour wax into mini pumpkins for charming DIY candles.
  • Paint, gild, or marble pumpkins for chic no-carve décor.

Festive + Fun

Pumpkins bring creativity and celebration to any gathering.
  • Host a carving party with themed snacks and prizes.
  • Kid-friendly crafts: painted faces, glitter pumpkins, stamped wrapping paper.
  • Stack pumpkins on the porch for a welcoming entryway display.

Cozy Sips (Beyond the PSL)

Take your pumpkin straight to the glass.
  • Pumpkin Chai Latte: Brew chai and stir in pumpkin purée, warm milk, and maple syrup.
  • Pumpkin Hot Chocolate: Melt dark chocolate into milk and whisk in purée with a pinch of cinnamon.
  • Harvest Sparkler: Mix purée with apple cider, ginger beer, and lime juice for a crisp, spiced sip.

At our home, we use the pumpkin from top to bottom! As soon as we buy pumpkins a week before Halloween, we’ll take one afternoon to paint them spooky and place them by the front door as decor. After Halloween, we’ll bring them in, wash them well and take out the seeds and core. We’ll roast everything, save the seeds for snacking, and make pumpkin pie from the rest! It’s definitely our favorite time of the year, needless to say!
