Don't forget about Father's Day in June! There's still plenty of time to make the day extra special for every dad in your life, regardless of whether you'll be with them in person, or seeing them through a screen.
Check out these last minute Father's Day ideas and tell us what a dad in your life would love!
Who doesn't love a gift that lasts all year? There are plenty of subscription boxes you can order. Customize the number of months or the various items that will be sent so that it can fit a variety of budgets.
Our favorites? Beer Month Club for microbrews or specialty beers, Scentbird for fragrances, skincare, makeup, and wellness products, and Cratejoy, which offers a variety of boxes, from grilling to games.
If you're looking for something to gift that's an activity, or something to do on the big day, there are so many options.
Since most movie theaters aren't open right now, at-home movies are the perfect gift. Just buy a movie projector and screen - or use a large white sheet instead. Then pop some popcorn and you'll have the perfect night out in your backyard - or head to the basement for a fun night in.
Put together a blind taste test of whatever your favorite dad likes to eat or drink, like chocolate, cheese or bourbon. Try it with just your family, or tell friends to buy the same ingredients so you can compare notes.
For an experience that can't be beat, check out Masterclass, where you can gift incredible lessons from the best. Learn basketball from Stephen Curry, filmmaking from Spike Lee or cooking from Gordon Ramsey. Gift a subscription and you can listen in too!
If your dad always wanted to learn the guitar, or improve his skills, gift him the chance now. With JamPlay, he can learn either acoustic or electric guitar from solo artists and world-class instructors. For more info and options for online guitar lessons, click here.
My dad loves snacks
He'd just love to have the family together with the kids! A good hearty meal is enough for him :)
My Dad lives in an Assisted Living Facility in Florida. Due to COVID I had to cancel plans to see him, as did my siblings and children. Recently, I purchased a Standmixer and in conversations, he told me how he yearned for homemade treats. He's a diabetic, so I have had to research conversions, but now send him a "care package" of bagels, rye bread and a batch of homemade sugar-free cookies every couple of weeks. So, essentially I am doing the monthly gift box myself. I guess he signed up for the best service he could get!
The $50 would be used treat my dad and his friend to a great dinner, in my absence.
My dad would love anything I give him, even though he's hard to pick out a gift for. It's also technically my hubby's FIRST Father's Day this year as our daughter is due to be born on 8/11! I am so excited to celebrate it this year because I really wanna make it something extra special for him because this is the year everything changed for us and made us both better people! Here we come parenthood!
the monthly gift boxes would be a lot of fun. I have always wanted to do those but never been able to afford them.
Beer or A Bottle of Booze... lol
a gift card to a local restaurant
He would love the beer month club!!
this year we make a brunch!!
Masterclass!
super mario cart to play with our daughter
dinner
My father recently passed, but I got my husband a new pair of slippers, a housecoat, and pajamas...all his stuff for bed us so old.
Beef jerky!!!
Fishing stuff
Love the ideas! My Dad passed away last year, so my husband is the only Dad being celebrated this Father's Day. He likes it low-key and doesn't want any presents, but he likes good food and has a sweet tooth, so I am cooking a special dinner for him, and our daughter is baking his favourite cake.
