My mother did ten years ago.
She lived through WWII AirRaids, The Depression, and Also The Polio Epidemic.
.
Despite her struggles early on,
She continued to help others. Often while bearing crosses of her own.

My mother is the reason Sloan Ketterings Children Ward now has a parents room. She set this up in 1983, while trying to nurse her grandson (my sisters 2 year old son) back to heath.

She passed away 10 years ago,
But I continue to be of service, very much like her. To date I have helped over 2500 people. I will continue to do so.

The women in my family inspire me. My grandmother, my mother, and my sister. There's even more special women in my life but the ones I mentioned are just a few of them. I find myself wanting to be half as great as them.

This sounds like a wonderful book. My great Aunt, who is 100 years old inspires me. She was a nurse during WWII then afterwards went back to college to become a professor. She then taught nurses at a college. She's travelled all over the world and has had so many great experiences.
