When my dad was deployed overseas he found out he was able to take a quick trip home for Thanksgiving. He flew 23 hours just to be with us for one day, and then flew 23 hours back. He now lives across the country and if I ever need him, he doesn’t hesitate to drop everything and hop on a plane. - Melissa
My grandfather helped me buy my first car when I was 17 and always changed my oil and helped maintain the car for me. I liked spending that time with him and to a 17-year-old with her first car, it meant a lot to me! - Stephanie
My husband, Drew, has been drawing some cartoons of my daughter Franny occasionally - and posts them on the Instagram page he created for her called frannypancakes. She loves seeing the drawings of herself and it's really sweet for me to remember some of our funny moments with her. - Emily

My dad is my sons only grandparent. He makes sure to spend time with them at least once a week.
my dad has always been there for me and helped me financially when I needed him
When my dad was 85, he would still stock his refrigerator with my favorite treats.
He would do anything to help me.
Thank you for honoring dad's.
He taught me to use tools. I have and use power tools better than most males that I know.
My dad passed away in 1992 at the age of 61. Before he passed, he taught me many valuable lessons which I'm sure he was unaware that I would carry on throughout my life. I would watch him as he worked on his car, and he would tell me to always check the oil, make sure to check the radiator before winter temps got too low, tire inflation, etc. He also instilled in me a good work ethic, and he taught me to be independent. Dad was gone from my life way too soon, but his lessons will last a lifetime!
My father taught me that everyone's born equal. He's the sweetest person I've ever met in my life and I miss him very much (he passed 10 years ago.).
My father has always been there for me and has helped me raise my 2 boys. They have had the best example on how to become a man. I'm so blessed.

My dad is the most generous person and has done so much for me. I would love to be able to give back.
My dad spent so much time with me growing up, he would coach my tball team and help me with my homework
My dad was a hard working man who always put his family first and still does. He gave us strong morals and a good work ethic by example.
He has stepped up into a father roll for my friend's son, whose own father has long ago left town. He never makes it awkward or over-the-top, and our own children aren't neglected in the process - his heart is just so big he felt for this kid and ushered their family into our motley crew.
My wonderful husband is the best dad! He is so supportive of me and is great with the kids.
