It's time to celebrate us! International Women's Day is March 8, which means it's the perfect moment to appreciate all the women who have come before us and what they have accomplished.

My Mom
The woman who has positively influenced me is my mom, Ying Lo. She has taught me to never doubt my intuition and to go for what I love to do. She is the reason I am 100% my unapologetic self and strive to do more with my life. - Gaonou

Aside from being an amazing author, J.K. Rowling (Harry Potter) faced a lot of rejection and persevered to see her vision come to life. She gives back generously, speaks her mind and holds true to her beliefs. - Stephanie
My Grandmother
She was an amazing woman who grew up in a time with gender role expectations, yet went on to receive her Master's and start various organizations, including women’s organizations. She was incredibly wise and always gave the best advice. - Melissa
My Mom's Group
When my oldest son was born, I met a group of amazing new moms. We started going out to dinner once a month and we haven't stopped for more than twelve years. These women have inspired me to be a better mom and a stronger person. They also taught me how important it is to support other women - and find women who support you. - Susan
Serena Williams
Serena Williams is more than just an incredible tennis player. She also uses her platform for good and has become a great role model for all, but especially girls, sisters and now moms. Her passion for excellence is inspring. I love her new Nike video that says it all. - Carol

My Daughter who is 23 and working hard to finish college in spite of her battle with Parotid Gland cancer..which through the GRACE AND MERCY of Jehovah RAPHA she beat and continues to beat with each checkup. This kid never complained not one time through major surgery, nor through radiation, nor through chemotherapy. She was a trooper through it all. Her Faith never waivered not one bit!!!! She is definitely the silent but strong type....

My mom inspires me everyday to be a strong and independant women. While my dad was away on deployment she worked long hours to make sure my sister and I lived comfortably and stillmmaged to take us to school and have girls nights whenever she could. She inspires me to have a strong work ethic and makes me confident that although I'd like to get married someday- I can be completely happy and powerful supporting myself on my own!:)

The person that has most influenced me in this life in all these 22 years of my life, has always been MY GRANDMA. SINGLE MOTHER OF THREE CHILDREN, GRANDMOTHER OF 11NIETOS, great grandmother of 3 (my own children). nurse for 45 continuous working and serving in the same hospital since she started. devout Christian and with such an indescribable faith towards God since always. because she? She has always been the support of our whole family so that she was always united. tireless worker. mother and grandmother equally dedicated to their own. inexplicably unconditional love. a fighter before all the adversities that appear in our lives. my best friend, my second mother, my angel. My grandmother is for me the best woman in the world. she has always been there for me at every stage of my life, high and low, sad and happy .. she is always the guide of all of us so we can always see the right path

My Mom inspires me. Currently in the hospital after colon surgery to remove cancer that was accidentally found during a kidney stone scan. Her world stopped especially as she is a 2nd grade teacher and can't get back to her class. She is more positive now then before actually.
