As the days get shorter and schedules get busier, finding time to make dinner can sometimes feel like a real burden. Worry no more! Read on to find delicious tips and recipes for cooking dinner in no time.

Plus, find out how to win your own Instant Pot 7-in-1 Pressure Cooker (valued at $120) to make dinner prep even easier!

Soup/Chowder

The perfect meal to warm you up in fall is a hearty bowl of soup. And many soups are quick to make. Take, for example, this Cheesy Vegetable Chowder submitted to our website by MyLittlePrincessK. It takes just 15 minutes to prep and is a complete all-in-one meal. This one is vegetarian, but feel free to add meat to it. Tip: buy a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store and it will take no extra time to add to the chowder.

One pot-meals

When you are busy with activities, one-pot meals are the way to go. It's less time cooking -- and less time washing! Cooking in one-pot does not have to be boring. You can make all sorts of casseroles and stews. Or try this lamb skillet dinner from Hywelda9. With just 10 minutes of prep time, it's an easy meal that is sure to cheer you up this fall.

Slow Cooker

Another great option is to use a slow cooker to prepare dinner in advance. There are countless meal options you can put together in the morning, and it will be done at dinnertime. If you want chicken, try prepping the taco meat in the slow cooker, like dreampeddler does. All that's left to do at the end of the day is to heat up some tacos. Add whatever toppings you can grab from your fridge. Or for a one-pot slow cooker meal, try this beef stew from emimorgan, where your complete dinner is ready to eat.

Chili

Another stick-to-your bones meal that screams fall is chili. And because you can make chili so many different ways, you can serve it often without getting bored. If you want to try something other than the standard ground beef or turkey, check out kcchiefs's sweet potato chili, which is sweet, spicy and delicious!  Make it in the slow cooker and dinner will be ready when you are.

Instant Pot

Need a kitchen gadget that is both slow-cooker and pressure cooker in one? That sautees, browns and also steams? The latest fad in applicances is the Instant Pot, which is made to handle all of that and more. It can serve up the perfect fall recipe in no time. Lower sodium chili is one of my go-to cold weather meals. I make it a couple of times a month in big batches so there is some leftover for the freezer.

I love to throw some chicken breasts, chicken broth, & broccoli in my slow cooker before leaving for work. When I come home, the whole house smells amazing! Tip: Place a piece of foil over the pot before placing the lid of your slow cooker on top. Not only will the foil keep your slow cooker from spitting condensation, but it stops the lid from rattling, too! =D

I love to make a Mexican style stew with beef, green tomatillos, onions, garlic, cinnamon stick and for the spice I use dry Chiles and spices. I put them in a pot and let them all simmer it takes a while that's why owning a slow cooker I could prep it the night before and enjoy it the next day.

My favorite quick dinner is dump meal. It's easy and convenient where I just take things from my cabinets and add it to a meat in my freezer (thrawed and clean). I just put it in my Crock Pot and let it cook. It's fun, fast, and easy I love it.
