One Christmas EVERY toy we purchased needed batteries. I thought I had a stash of batteries. Had to borrow from a family member.

Am I he only one who has tons of batteries all over their house! I'm not even sure if they are good or bad, I think I'm a battery hoarder! The batteries for our game controllers usually go out every month or so, and I will literally rub them together to see if their is any life left in them. This usually works about 1 or 2 times then it's off to the store.

I can't think of a Christmas that I haven't needed to buy batteries! I've always been very careful to make sure I have plenty on hand though because there are always gifts that need them and someone has forgotten to buy them for the kids to play with! This year I have remote control vehicles for the grandson that need batteries!

You seriously will have some angry children not when they must share the new xbox one because I'm thankful they will share and do appreciate BUT when there is no batteries in the controllers they run around chaotic searching each of the tv remotes and everything down to my battery operated nail file! Help! I'm queen at the "what else was I suppose to get?" Type of stuff.

The time we needed Duracell batteries the most was when we were coming home from my moms on Christmas eve and the car broke down and of course the batteries in the flashlight were dead! No one would stop to help and no stores were open. Extra batteries would have come in handy! This year I will be staying home and I will be buying my husband a radio controlled helicopter so we will need a ton of Duracell batteries!
