I overcame addiction to opiates! I am proud to say that today, I am 23 months clean and my life is beautiful. I'm living the Christian life I was meant to live all along and my family could not be more proud. I lead the service department as a supervisor at an RV dealer in my town, I just purchased my first home last week and I have regained the relationships that I had lost during active addiction. My four year old daughter now has the mother that she deserves and feeling that love from her is better than any high I've ever felt! I am genuinely happy because I have faced my demons and continuously set goals for myself to reach....It is only uphill from here!!!

I am proud to say that I overcame my fear of dogs. I have always been terrified of even a sight of dogs due to an incident from my childhood. I overcame it after ~25 years and I feel liberated. I can go jog in my neighborhood park without worrying about a dog playing or being walked behind me.

I overcome my battle with depression daily. It helps me to focus on the positive things in my life, and believe that's hard when I'm suffering from this debilitating disease. So many people fail to understand mental illness and blame the sufferer. Daily I strive to change the perception of mental disorders by sharing my experiences, and trying to take the stigma out of the disease.

I overcame infertility after trying for 4 years and 3 rounds of IVF. After being told adoption or donor egg were my only options, I kept trying with my own and now have a beautiful biological daughter. I am grateful and so in love but I also am very sad that I won't be able to give her a sibling.

I have overcome many traumas in my life from my daughter being born 4.5 months early and spending 4 months in the NICU only for the doctors to tell me she wouldn't make it. My little girl is now 8 years old and the shining star in my life. My mother was murdered last year and 3 weeks later my grandfather (her dad) passed away, then 6 months after that my aunt died all while I was trying to build a business. Since then my life has been put on hold and I grew into a great depression. These last few months I have been pulling myself together to be a stronger me and depression will not get the best of who I am.

I am in constant pain from fibromyalgia, neuropathy and deal with a severe anxiety problem.I am also coping with PTSD,depression and bi-polar disorder. I continue to grow as a person and conquer my issues on a daily basis. No one truly understand what a day in my life consists of. Yet now, 6 years after being diagnosed, I am starting a new business with my husband and instead of worrying myself about my limitations, I continue to do EVERYTHING I always have.. I won't give in to my illnesses.

After reading all these comments I feel like my limitations are minimal compared to some of the comments. I am a full time student, taking 15 credit hours after my full time job. This semester I plan to finish my associate degree. I have three daughters and one of them had bilateral hip surgery to place a pin on her hip bones. It makes me very sad to see her struggle with her limitations, she loves being active and has not been able to play any sports or be a normal kid.

My daughter hasa Tourette Syndrome so we never know what new tics she might wake up with. I deal with it by taking one day at a time and being there for my daughter everyday! It is hard but I know that we will overcome!

Living with back pain means never giving into the pain. I have to keep moving or else everything else starts to hurt.
