I have so many random things from my teenage years - like dice and random toys from when my daughter was a toddler.

Honestly? Everyone would be shocked to learn that I never leave home without a copy of the court order that states I have all parental rights over my son and that his deadbeat dad is not allowed any contact with him ever. It's been almost 5 years since we've had any contact with him, but he still lives in the area and has several other kids and I'm always afraid that one day our paths will cross and he'll make a scene about my son. That's the secret in my purse...

My handbag has a separate pocket on the outside for easy access to my cell phone, it is not healthy to carry a cell phone tucked in your bra or a pocket, and you need to grab it quick if it rings. Now what do I have that some people might not ...I don't go anywhere without dental floss, my polarized UVA/UVB blocking Maui Jim sunglasses, SPF 15 moisturizing lotion, Emory board, eye drops and SPF 15 lip balm. My key chain has an emergency whistle and a bottle opener on it too. I carry a large purse, because I often get the privilege of carrying my husbands reading glasses, sunglasses, Blackberry and cell phone too! It'll fit!

Too much lip gloss and balm and a slew of hand sanitizer.

Cooling wipes for hot flashes.

They think I'm all about looking dolled up and working out. But no one would think that I'm a huge and frequent eater. I don't have any cosmetics in my bag. Instead I have snacks to munch on throughout the day! Crackers, sandwiches, Capri Suns. Yes, some 20-somethings still drink Capri suns. Haha! Thanks for the opportunity, SheSpeaks!

I keep a few resealable bags in it because they are good for a lot of things.

I have hand sanitizer and a small jar of vaseline. So my hands are always clean and moisturized. Thanks.

A SOG key knife which is super useful many times a week!

I have scissors and tape. You never know when you need to cut a tag or tape a letter. It happens! :)

I keep a measuring tape in my handbag. It has come in super handy!

I have a buckeye in my purse that my grandpa gave me to carry before he passed away about 12 years ago. He said it was good luck and would keep you in good health. So far so good! Not to mention I'm a huge OSU Buckeyes fan so it was very fitting! I would love to transfer it over to my new Dooney and Bourke if I could be that lucky!
